29/01/2026: Probably the best pizzeria in Wolkenstein. Great food, great service, etc. Since the drinks were served a little late, the owner offered us two excellent grappas. We'll be back.

09/01/2026: After a tiring snowshoe hike, we wanted to try the canederli at the mountain hut without too many expectations. Instead, Malga Sella surprised us with incredibly delicious cannonballs, accompanied by fresh cabbage. Along with a good Forst, they welcomed us back to the world with more joy and satisfaction than before! The mountain hutkeepers were very quick and kind. The price was definitely fair, exceeding all expectations.
07/01/2026: While skiing the Sellaronda, on one of those bad days when fog accompanies you turn after turn, this mountain hut/refuge was a truly pleasant, almost providential discovery. Outside, visibility was limited and the damp cold was cold, but inside, there was genuine warmth, the scent of wood, a burning stove, and the authentic mountain air.
The atmosphere is rustic and welcoming, without frills: shared tables invite you to sit together and spark spontaneous conversations with friendly people, all united by the same desire for a more alpine and authentic atmosphere, far from the glossy huts crowded with noisy and somewhat rowdy skiers.
The food is excellent, simple but well-made, perfect for getting your legs moving and your spirits up. The beer pairs perfectly with everything, sipped slowly while the fog continues to roll in outside. Here, time seems to slow down, and that's just fine. The staff is extremely kind, smiling, and helpful, making you feel immediately at ease even if you enter cold and with fogged-up glasses. A refuge that doesn't try to impress, but succeeds precisely because of this: authentic, warm, and human.
A stop that, from a simple shelter on a difficult day, has transformed into one of the most beautiful memories of the ski trip. In short, a place to return to, come fog or sunshine.

23/01/2026: Over priced for the food quality, the starter where mostly fine, I would not recommend the winter greens, a nice option for vegetarians but would not go for it again. I found the main course, Tagliata with mushrooms to be bland and the meat tough. Perhaps just bad luck but for a sitting that cost 100€ I had higher expectations.
My friends went for the fondue and from what I tasted of it it was nothing special.
As for the atmosphere, we all thought that it looked nice but most complained that it was to hot in the room we were sitting and you could feel the the stale air. More ventilation is needed if you should have that many ppl and fondue pots in the same room.
20/01/2026: We order steak and ravioli. First with the positive cant say anything about ravioli they were good.
About the steak first it came in raw(we ordered medium) it wqs super chewy, wrongly cut, and 0 taste. We at least asked if this is medium and they admited and being it back to kitchen. Than they bringed it back and gave us medium well more like well. We tried to eat it since i know there is no save at this time but it was still super chewy and with even less taste. So we left around 3/5 of the steak.
We waitied like 20 minutes befoee somebody noticed us we finished ( the waitress walk around us many times and than stand in the back)
After 20 minutes she came and didnt as anything, she lookes completly cool with that we left mroe than half steak, not a word if the food was good anything only if we want deserve.
When im paying 60+ euros per one food in luxury 5 star hotel i would expect a top quality. I get that something can be wrong with the meat or it can be just error . But what really makes me sad is that the waitress didnt even care.

10/07/2025: Mange dejlige retter på menukortet og vores oplevelse blev ødelagt lidt af, at personalet havde meget travlt og ikke var særligt servicemindede. Vi ventede meget længe på at få regning og ville egentlig have haft dessert, men blev aldrig spurgt.
07/06/2025: L'interno del locale è molto carino. Le pizze le abbiamo mangiare giusto perché eravamo affamati. Il dolce, uno strudel, per nulla all'altezza con decorazione di panna che non sapeva di nulla. Il personale? Pessimo.
