14/03/2026: A truly disappointing experience. We arrived with our baby in a stroller and, instead of being greeted normally like any other customer, we were placed at a table outside the main dining room, practically in a corner between the entrance door, the fish refrigerator, and the coat check. An uncomfortable, cold, and undignified place to eat, which made us feel distinctly left out just because we had a baby in a stroller. In 2026, it's unacceptable for a family to be treated this way. A restaurant should welcome all customers with respect, not relegate them to a corner as if they were a problem. An experience that unfortunately doesn't make us want to return. Perhaps it would be helpful to remember that a child isn't a nuisance, but simply another customer. PS: I chose to give two stars only because I want this review to be read and seen by as many people as possible. If it were based on the experience I had, the score would have been zero.

03/03/2026: I'm sharing this review for those of us who, like us, chose to organize a business dinner as a social gathering outside of work, but found ourselves having to manage different dietary requirements. We booked several weeks in advance, immediately notifying them that there would be a vegan and a vegetarian at the table. We were assured there would be no problems. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the restaurant, the person in charge of welcoming us seemed clearly struggling to offer suitable alternatives. The result was that one person dined on a simple plate of pasta with tomato sauce and a pumpkin cream soup. Considering that, with a bottle of budget-friendly wine, we spent around €70 each, we would have expected more attention and care, especially after having communicated our needs in advance. The staff was friendly, and we understand that vegan cuisine isn't the restaurant's focus. However, there was a certain superficiality in the handling of our request, both in terms of the variety of options and in relation to the overall cost of the evening.

18/03/2026: I'm starting on a sad note because you'll never be able to experience or share an experience like this again (it closes this Sunday), because I'm getting emotional writing these words, like when I ate the spaghetti I've been wanting to try for years... we were fortunate enough to experience certain flavors, certain dishes, combinations, ideas, and emotions in this place, and I hope the next time we try Camanini's dishes will be as soon as possible. On the one hand, I'd like to comment on how unique the dishes were (the photos speak for themselves) or how beautiful it was to see the perfect decor, but what we prefer to share is the kindness, empathy, and humanity that the entire staff demonstrated. It's indescribable, and it made a fantastic evening that we'll remember for a lifetime, something words can't express. I just wanted to say thank you, and we truly hope to see you again soon. 15/03/2026: My favorite place, the experiences at Lido 84 cannot be told, they had to be lived... I can only say that the Camanini brothers and all the members of the team always made me spend wonderful days.

14/04/2026: I ate very, very well. Dishes inspired by traditional local cuisine, well thought out and impeccably prepared, with pleasant new twists. The wine selection is also very good, all well-chosen. The spaces are well-maintained and tastefully furnished, especially the bright veranda, where the warmth of wood dominates. There is parking, but it's decidedly inadequate. The prices aren't cheap; a first and second course with wine easily exceeds €50-55 per person.

07/01/2026: I must admit, as a true Emiliano, that I never expected to eat like this on Lake Garda. This beautiful and elegant place exudes an extraordinary passion for their work, but the food!!! Incredible dishes, always maintaining the simplicity of flavors and traditions, like the lake fish!! Of all the Michelin-starred restaurants I've tried in my life, this is by far the best! And where I'm from, Modena, I can assure you, it's packed!! Truly, congratulations to this family that has run the restaurant for three generations!!!

03/10/2025: We treat ourselves to this dining experience once a year. It's not without reason, and rightly so, that Maria has held a Michelin star as a chef for many decades. Add to that the attractive interior design and exquisite tableware. The service is top-notch and completes the feel-good atmosphere. We'll see you again on your next stay in Gargnano. 01/04/2026: The visit to this Italian restaurant (with Michelin ambitions) on the stunning Lake Garda was, by far, the worst service I have ever experienced as a seasoned Michelin restaurant guest. The level of service was absolutely — and I truly mean absolutely — below any acceptable standard (in fact, the service was practically non-existent) and completely unworthy of the Michelin ambitions this restaurant claims to have. It already started with an Italian waiter who did not speak a single word — literally not a single word — of English or French. Even the most basic fundamentals of hospitality, such as offering an aperitif, were completely unknown to him. As for the wine, we were not even given the menu (tablet) in hand; instead, the vague interaction was limited to a single question asking whether we wanted a magnum bottle… Then, in Italian, he asked if we wanted 1.2 kg of meat — without us ever having seen a menu. For the guests at the table who ordered soft drinks, these had to be fetched from the hotel next door…!!! Two hours later, part of the table still had not received any food. To top it all off, coffee and tea were included on the bill but were never served. When we addressed this with another waiter (who spoke excellent English), he briefly took over the service, only to hand us back to the Italian-speaking amateur shortly afterward. In our view, a major mistake was that this English-speaking waiter did not handle the service entirely, but instead handed it back to his incompetent colleague — despite the fact that we had clearly indicated we were not satisfied with him. To end on a positive note… the food was very good.
