22/10/2025: This place is a fantastic find! The views of Lake Iseo are unmatched, the hotel is historic and charming, and every staff member encountered was extraordinary. We had dinner one evening and they do an excellent job (very accommodating to my gluten allergy as well). Lovely breakfast area. We will be back! (We had a small group on a wine tour)

16/10/2025: A sure thing. We're semi-regulars with their Valentine's Day boxes and dinners. The atmosphere is welcoming and the dishes are meticulously prepared, and arrive hot and tidy. The prices are a little higher than average, but fair enough for the quality of the ingredients. Definitely recommended.

15/10/2025: I've been to this restaurant for lunch twice, and it's become one of my favorites in Brescia! I loved everything about it: the original concept and design, the attentive and friendly staff, and, above all, the creative approach to the cuisine (I'd call it modern Italian cuisine) and the top quality! Everything is truly delicious! My favorite so far is ORECCHIETE PUGLIESI ;) It's not a free restaurant, but it's absolutely worth it! And my advice: book in advance! Both times I've been, the place was packed.

08/10/2025: Beautiful location and super friendly staff. We chose this restaurant for our wedding and were truly happy with our choice. The menu is customizable and offers various service options, so it's easy to adapt to your tastes and the needs of your guests. Since we already knew the place, we didn't even consider looking elsewhere. All our guests were impressed: from the quality of the food to the atmosphere, everything was appreciated. Special thanks to the family-run business, carried on with passion by the second and third generations, following the historic Gregorio. Highly recommended both for fine dining and for organizing important events. Thanks again 🧡💚

21/10/2025: We had Sunday lunch at Il Tram restaurant in Sarnico, and the experience was simply perfect! The restaurant is elegant and meticulously designed, with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly, attentive, and very professional, always available despite the restaurant being packed—I absolutely recommend booking in advance. We started with a magnificent, fresh, and beautifully presented trio of seafood appetizers. Next, the squid ink ravioli with shrimp were exquisite, with a perfect balance between the seafood flavors and the delicate texture of the pasta. The mushroom risotto was truly spectacular, creamy, and rich in aromas, while the tuna steak was out of this world: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every dish was meticulously crafted, with top-quality ingredients and refined presentation. An unforgettable Sunday lunch, synonymous with flavor and quality. Il Tram is a restaurant that truly deserves its 5-star rating—highly recommended! 🍷🐟🍽️

18/10/2025: A few words, no photos because it's not appropriate to take photos in such a restaurant. This restaurant is in the center of Sarnico, and in my opinion, it's an upscale restaurant. We walked in without a reservation, and despite it being almost closing time (siesta), they found a seat for us. 1. Food: Short menu, mostly seafood. The dishes were sophisticated, like spaghetti with octopus, a nice combination of flavors. The portions were small but very nicely presented. 2. Service: Stiff, no smiles, didn't really want to speak English, and kind of ignored us (the Italians were served with more enthusiasm). Our head waiter was a blonde woman, and thanks to her for trying her best. Prices: You won't eat a full meal here; the only thing you can satisfy is the visual experience. Of course, you don't come to stuff yourself in an upscale restaurant, but the value for money is still exorbitant. In short: a fairly high-class restaurant, stiff, and sophisticated. We felt somehow strange there.

20/10/2025: Elegantly renovated rural setting, the staff is efficient and knowledgeable, and they pay great attention to dietary requirements. Excellent Franciacorta risotto with truffle and char fillet. A very positive experience.

10/11/2025: Our €540 disappointment at a two-Michelin-star restaurant that values friends over guests We spent €540 at what’s ranked the world’s 16th-best restaurant, expecting a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Instead, we endured three hours of nonstop barking from a dog belonging to friends of the owner — during what was supposed to be a special dinner celebrating our first child, due in February. We had the first seating on October 27 (reservation under Howard). About ten minutes after doors opened, a group of six arrived with a small dog. It barked repeatedly throughout the meal, loud enough for every table to notice. My husband approached staff three times, and each time the message was clear: because these guests were connected to the owner, the rules didn’t apply. Staff even admitted there’s a no-dog policy but that this group was an exception. Their justifications kept changing — first they “didn’t know” a dog was coming, then it was supposedly a “therapy” dog. We later wrote management privately, hoping for an apology or acknowledgment. Instead, they downplayed everything — claiming the dog barked “only three times” and suggesting our complaint was about “chewing.” Their email completely distorted the events and denied the obvious favoritism we witnessed. For a restaurant with two Michelin stars, this level of dishonesty and disregard for paying guests is shocking. The night we looked forward to most on our trip became the one we most wanted to forget. Outstanding food means little when the management shows zero respect or accountability.

08/11/2025: I contacted management before leaving this review and they refused to address the issue. Here’s my review: Picture this: you spend €540 at the world’s 16th-best restaurant, two Michelin stars, and sit through three hours of nonstop dog barking while staff admit the owner’s friends get a free “no dogs” pass. That happened to us on October 27. My pregnant wife and I flew across the ocean and built our Italy trip around this dinner, a gift to celebrate our first child due in February. We booked the first seating under Howard. Ten minutes after opening, a group of six arrives with a small dog. It barks the entire night. Every table looks over. I spoke to staff three times. Their answers: they know the owner, they drove 200 km (we flew thousands), we will not ask the dog to leave, and yes, there is a no-dog policy. The dog stayed. The barking never stopped. Also, their story switched from “we didn’t know the dog was coming” to “they told us it was a therapy dog before they came.” We emailed management for an apology. Their reply rewrote history: the dog barked “only three times”, “in a very feeble way,” and our real issue was the dog’s “chewing?????”. Also, them knowing the dog wasnt coming was a lie. Complete lies. It barked over a dozen times, loud enough to turn heads across the room. No vest, no service-animal status, just “pet therapy” for friends of the owner. They claim no other guest complained. More fiction. They didn’t offer us anything at all to make the situation better. Management ignored facts, gaslit us, and doubled down on favoritism. The night we planned as our trip’s highlight became its low point. Two Michelin stars, zero integrity.

16/10/2025: The pizza chefs here take their job seriously. In a sophisticated setting with a lake view and terrace, they serve modern interpretations of pizza with high-quality toppings and a variety of doughs. From pan-steamed, thick crusts to special flour blends (e.g., corn and sunflower seeds), high hydration levels, and the classic thin version – all pizzas are crispy, airy, and light. Perfectly cooked. Those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance are also in the right place here; they also offer certified gluten-free pizzas. These are even prepared in a separate (!) kitchen. I highly recommend the restaurant and would gladly return.

16/10/2025: What a discovery! Very good, gluten-free pizza, baked in a separate oven in their own kitchen. Tastes excellent! The service was very attentive. The dessert was also gluten-free and very tasty. The pizzas are a modern interpretation with many delicious combinations. We will definitely be back, thank you very much.

16/10/2025: A very pleasant dinner with friends, the dishes were delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere exceptional. The evening concluded with a stroll along the lakeside—what more could you ask for?

18/09/2025: What Paolo and Joanna created is a truly wonderful thing. The food is beyond fantastic. It‘s creative and traditional, beautifully presented and extremely delicous. We were there outside of the main season, so the vibes were very relaxed and cozy. Joanna was a wonderful host and gladly answered and entertained all of our questions. If you are in Sarnico, Dinner al numero 24 is a must.

06/10/2025: Oh my... 😏 Pizza is a mess. I was so hungry that I ate it in a hurry, so the pictures aren't that great, but I'm just going to eat it. First of all, everyone is so kind (everyone). As for the taste... it goes without saying. The pizza here is really delicious. The price isn't bad, so I'll give it 100 points. If you're having trouble deciding, I recommend going. Have a nice trip. 😙 The pizza is delicious! It's delicious and I love how delicious the pizza is, but the pictures aren't that great 😅 The pizza is delicious and the pizza is so elastic and delicious that I'm happy to eat it, and the personal touch is so great. 05/10/2025: My partner and I went for dinner two nights, and the fact that we came back is obviously a sign that we enjoyed the first night. I loved the local offerings, fresh and delicious grilled lake fish! The handmade gnocchi melt in your mouth, I haven't had them this good in a while. The desserts and fruit were also delicious. Excellent service. The place is small, with a cozy, intimate, and familiar atmosphere, overlooking the lake, in an ancient alley where they've kept the original floors and walls (beautiful). The only thing I would say, if I could find a flaw, is that I don't like fake flowers and I find them ugly in a place, but that's just my opinion. In my opinion, if you remove them, it gains value, and the same goes for the paper placemats. Washable ones are better, and they're also more sustainable. I highly recommend it!

08/10/2025: A truly enjoyable dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. The dishes were very refined, with modern preparation. But the best part was the flavors. Each ingredient was highlighted and harmonious with the others. Well done, chef.

30/09/2025: Despite trying quite hard, this fine-dining restaurant sadly misses the mark. While the service was incredibly warm, and the dishes are presented beautifully, we encountered a few minor issues that we wouldn’t expect from a restaurant at this level: - the table was dirty, and the mark was covered up with a napkin; - they forgot to bring us enough knives with the bread and butter, then overcompensated by bringing us butter knives as well, which at this point we didn’t need; - they tried to clear our plates away while one of us was still clearly eating - the food was on the fork; - we weren’t offered to taste the wine prior to pouring. These would all be forgivable if the food were up to par, but it doesn’t really meet the standard of other restaurants in this price range. Some flavours were over-powering (saffron), the fish was overcooked, and the temperature variation in some of the dishes was a bit odd. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t meet the projected expectations. It’s style over substance, and overpriced for what it is. We had some fantastic meals on Lake Iseo, but unfortunately this wasn’t one of them.

17/09/2025: The service is absolutely nonexistent! Everyone stares at the waiter, who works alone, with hungry eyes. The food is delicious, but the portions are very small. We never got dessert! This was our worst experience in Sirmione, I don't recommend it.

17/09/2025: A very nice restaurant quite close to the lake. My mom and I stopped for dinner and each had three courses (appetizer, first course, and dessert), accompanied by a nice glass of Franciacorta. The service was excellent and very attentive; the owner works in the dining room with her nephew, and they are truly lovely. At the end of the dinner, we were offered a delicious myrtle liqueur. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and I highly recommend this place for couples or friends.

03/10/2025: We treat ourselves to this dining experience once a year. It's not without reason, and rightly so, that Maria has held a Michelin star as a chef for many decades. Add to that the attractive interior design and exquisite tableware. The service is top-notch and completes the feel-good atmosphere. We'll see you again on your next stay in Gargnano.
