07/05/2025: I was given a tasting at this high-end restaurant in Savona; I have to say that I was very satisfied with my time here.
We were greeted by the friendly and precise staff of the place, accompanied to the table.
We were served the list of bubbles and waters, after which the amouse-bouche arrived.
The tasting continued smoothly, up to the only flaw in the experience: the skin of the snapper was rubbery and impossible to chew.
The environment is very refined.

14/04/2025: Cena in coppia in una saletta romantica e appartata, con mattoni a vista (come in tutto il locale, dove si respira la tradizione, piatti semplici e gustosi, leggeri, qualità-prezzo ottima, servizio impeccabile. È un ambiente simpatico e alla mano dove stare come a casa a gustare una cena genuina e autentica, come i proprietari. Non era la prima volta che andavo e ci ritornerò!

The location is five stars, or even more
The staff is kind and attentive just right, without being too pushy, but always present.
The sommelier was the person who fascinated me the most, passionate, competent, with a touch of lightness and a strong personality: compliments
Mise en Place light and elegant at the same time (the chairs are too low for the tables though)
Bread, focaccia and oil (of their own production) very good
The fish products are not of great value, apart from the caught sea bream, the rest, bonito, cuttlefish, white shrimp.. but this does not mean anything, in fact the bonito was the best dish...
The presentation of the dishes... Beautiful but not fantastic.
The cuisine
The famous Adriá olive, too thick but I really appreciated the inside.
The other small insignificant entrees
Good sea bream carpaccio: period. Instead, the Pernambuco with gin, brought in combination, was worthy of a wow
Bonito, as already said, perhaps the best dish or rather, it could not have been cooked better and also the combination was definitely spot on, the garlic mayonnaise, perfect consistency, balanced flavor, special dandelion.
Red mullet with ciupin... No wow... The ciupin combined with the red mullet was very pleasant, if tasted alone, it had a hint of sweetness too much.
The cuttlefish was nothing special, I would say delicate, but in reality it had little flavor and the sauce was too strong.
Worthy of note instead was the revisited buridda!! Great idea and also very good
The pasta: a good product, but here too no wow... Also because white shrimp are not really "pasta"
The cod with a flavor too strong
The rabbit... Alas, the rabbit!! Out of respect for the chef, I'll just say the rabbit, alas.
The cute and pleasant dessert and that's it.
In the context, it didn't live up to expectations.
But.... There's a but... Everything I tasted of vegetables was instead special, both as a product and as a chef and I think I would have been much more satisfied if I had chosen the garden menu, and if I were to return I would definitely choose that one..
I gave three stars to the cuisine, not because it is an absolute three star, but evaluating as always the whole context
I'm almost sure that with the other menu my vote would have been higher...
02/05/2025: Exceptional experience in this starred restaurant. Impeccable service, attention to every detail. Refined food, with the right and balanced portions. Ingredients linked to the territory expertly combined with fine national wines.

13/05/2025: Couple dinner in May. The food is excellent, the service is fast and not intrusive, but the plus is the place and the view it enjoys. Eating while watching the sunset, with spectacular colors, from an "almost private" table facing the window overlooking the sea and the horizon, is worth the price of the dinner.
10/05/2025: Nice restaurant located right on the beach in Sportone. The restaurant is beautifully situated and you have a beautiful view of the beach and the sea from the dining room. Outside there are several beautiful terraces. The menu is excellent. The various dishes (Italian but not pizza) taste excellent. Paid parking is available on the street along the beach.

07/03/2025: It seems like they don't want to work. The "mixed" salad (green salad, rocket and tomatoes) was brought to me without dressing, I had to go and pick it myself. Then I ordered a mixed spritz (campari aperol), the waiters told me it was mixed but later I discovered that they didn't have campari. The food isn't bad but I won't go back.
02/03/2025: We went to this restaurant for a recommandation of our friend who lives in Finale. Despite average rewievs we decide for this restaurant and it was good choice. Food was great, espacialy fried calamari, prowns and fish. Half star down its for pizza with nutella, because on the menu they said its foccacia de la nutella and we though its something like pie, but for 9€ its too expensive. Another half star down its because they forgot our order and we waited for a pizza litlle bit longer.

24/04/2025: Wir sind seit einigen Jahren regelmäßige Gäste und sind jedes Mal von der hohen Qualität der Gerichte und des Services beeindruckt. Ob Fisch in der Salzkruste, Trofie al Pesto oder auch Pizza…in diesem Lokal ist alles handwerklich perfekt und außergewöhnlich gut gemacht. Dazu kommt ein aufmerksamer und persönlicher Service, der den Gesamteindruck vervollständigt.
Für uns ist das Lokal immer ein Garant für hohe Qualität bei absolut angemessenen Preisen.

16/04/2025: Tourist Trap. Personale scortese, abbiamo trovato un sasso nel piatto e quando lo abbiamo reclamato, il proprietario ci ha risposto che è normale trovare sassi nel piatto perché il pesce che propongono è fresco. Ancora non capiamo il nesso tra le due cose. Il piatto era stato mandato indietro e alla mia amica non è stato proposto di rifare la portata. Alla cassa ci hanno fatto comunque pagare anche il piatto con il sasso nonostante fosse per almeno la metà pieno. Inoltre il proprietario ci ha accusate di aver sottolineato il problema perché non volevamo pagare, mettendo in dubbio la nostra onestà.
A livello di qualità del cibo mi dispiace ma nessuno dei piatti 3 piatti a base di pesce aveva un ottimo sapore ( nonostante le allusioni alla freschezza), inoltre le vongole erano piene di sabbia. Il pesto ordinato dalla 4a persona era leggermente acido. Rispecchia perfettamente gli stereotipi sulla ristorazione italiana con core business i turisti.
13/04/2025: Ristorante assolutamente non consigliato per la scarsa qualità del pesce, per la poca igiene e pulizia. Inoltre nel piatto è stato ritrovato un sasso di grosse dimensioni e, non solo il piatto non è stato rifatto, ma l’oste ci ha accusato di volere solo lo sconto e di non voler pagare il piatto nonostante l’evidenza. Personale totalmente irrispettoso dei clienti e indisponente.

15/08/2024: Il locale si presenta molto bene, peccato per il cibo e per il servizio.
Siamo arrivati, abbiamo ordinato la prima bottiglia di vino e non ci è stato portato neanche il pane (che abbiamo dovuto chiedere per ben due volte). Abbiamo ordinato prima un piatto di pasta per la bambina che è arrivato solo insieme agli altri piatti. Abbiamo ordinato una seconda bottiglia di vino, arrivata (dopo varie richieste) a piatti già serviti.
Pescato del giorno (una fetta di pesce spada).
Tartare di patate (un purea insipido).
Scialatielli ai frutti di mare: di 3 piatti in uno non c’era in gambero come negli altri due. La pasta era insipida e scotta, le vongole erano 3 di cui 2 chiuse.
Spendere 50€ a testa per un piatto (di bassa qualità) e due bottiglie di vino in 6, è davvero esagerato.
Esperienza da non ripetere!
16/07/2024: La location è davvero molto bella, una terrazza con un panorama mozzafiato. I piatti sono buoni ed i prezzi in linea con l'offerta. Quello che secondo noi è mancato è un servizio di altrettanta qualità, che ci si aspetta quando si entra in un posto del genere. Così ci siamo anche spiegati la poca affluenza in ormai piena stagione. Se fosse gestito da professionisti della ristorazione certamente sarebbe uno dei locali più belli ed affollati della Liguria. Purtroppo la scarsa professionalità del servizio vanifica la bellezza del posto e dei piatti. Camerieri che girano a vuoto, il Sommelier che ci comunica non avere ancora definito la carta vini, quest'ultima sarà pronta il lunedì seguente, peccata che sabato 13 luglio, ormai in piena stagione, ci si aspetta di poter consultare una carta con i vini disponibili ed i relativi prezzi. Terminato il secondo siamo stati "dimenticati", dopo oltre 30 minuti da quando ci avevano ritirato i piatti siamo riusciti ad ordinare un dolce e qualche caffè. Dopo un ulteriore mezz'ora di attesa la cameriera "si ricorda" di farci i caffè e dopo aver richiesto il dolce mancante almeno altre due volte finalmente compare il tanto sognato gelato, tutto questo all'alba delle 00:10.

09/04/2025: Sono stata a cena una sera di agosto e per il cenone di San Silvestro, piatti eccellenti e atmosfera molto suggestiva. I ravioli sono il cavallo di battaglia del locale, sono fatti a mano come una volta, in vari modi in base al periodo dell’anno. Per il cenone 2024 erano alle erbette e astice; una squisitezza unica!!
Abbiamo già prenotato per il pranzo di Pasqua dove ci saranno quelli di agnello.
Consigliatissimo anche in serate infrasettimanali, si respira un aria di pace e tranquillità godendo anche delle vista mozzafiato, in estate si cena in giardino.
Prezzi in linea con la qualità della materia prima, servizio e location.

24/08/2023: Endroit sympa, avec musique, bel apéritif italien avec produits locaux, les cocktails sont bien servis. Facile à trouver, au coeur de Varazze. Nous y venons chaque année.
