03/06/2026: Incredible flavors and service. I cannot say enough wonderful superlatives about this restaurant. From the moment we were seated, we were greeted with kindness and smiles. They asked if anyone at our table had dietary restrictions or intolerances. The entire staff was warm and made us feel like regular customers. Our dinner at Oca Bianca is an experience my wife and I will remember for years to come!

07/06/2026: An extraordinary dining experience. One of the best we've had in years. ​Our family gathering in Sestri Levante was made truly unforgettable by our dinner at Le Cantine. This was, without a doubt, one of the best overall dining experiences we have had in a long time. ​Everything about this restaurant hits the mark: ​The Ambiance: Absolutely exceptional. Dining in the gorgeously lit, rustic stone room created such a warm and inviting atmosphere. ​The Food & Drink: Every single dish we ordered was special and plated beautifully, right down to the stunning floral pasta. However, the absolute standout was the sliced Florentine steak. It was incredibly flavorful, cooked to perfection, and paired brilliantly with the fantastic local wine we drank throughout the meal. ​The Service: Exceptional from start to finish. The staff made the entire evening feel effortless and catered to our table beautifully. ​If you are looking for a meal where the food, service, and atmosphere are all operating at the highest level, this is the place. Highly recommend!

02/06/2026: This isn't my first time at this restaurant, and I must say I'm always pleasantly surprised. The ambiance, the professionalism of the entire staff, and above all, the food. I believe it's one of the best value restaurants in Stestri. I recommend trying both menus. The wine list is very extensive, and they always offer quality wines by the glass.

26/04/2026: A small restaurant in the Marassi area. It offers seafood, Ligurian dishes, and more. The calamarata allo scoglio, the Genoese fried fish, and the stuffed anchovies are excellent. Generous portions and beautifully presented dishes. Friendly staff, a family atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Unfortunately, given the limited number of tables, you need to book well in advance, but it's definitely worth it.

18/05/2026: A great find! A well-kept restaurant and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is wonderful and incredibly helpful. Delicious food: a wide selection of meats, and the pesto pasta is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

10/04/2026: The atmosphere is that of an intimate, small, and comfortable tavern. The perfect spot for a quaint alleyway. The service is quick and attentive, thanks to its authenticity. The host and host explain the dishes, which are excellent in their simplicity. Compliments to the chef, who is skilled at preparing and displaying the dishes simply. It was a great evening. Everyone was happy (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 child). The experience was excellent, and the price was very fair.

01/06/2026: Clean and well-maintained atmosphere, fresh and carefully prepared food. Very convenient for those arriving at Principe Station.

30/05/2026: The staff were working reluctantly. They wanted to leave. The restaurant closes at 10:30 pm, but at 10 pm they started clearing the tables and rushing us to leave. And to top it all off, they charged us €8 for a glass of limoncello, when it's complimentary in other restaurants. A disgrace.

06/04/2026: Outstanding hotel in a very convenient location, walking distance to the cruise port and train station. I wouldn't consider the rooms to be 5-star, but the common areas of the hotel definitely are. The tub/shower in the room was a miss, but everything else was fantastic.

02/04/2026: A first class 5 star hotel, with marvelous decor. Our room was queen size, bed was very comfy, coffee and tea is provided with minibar. The bathroom was clean and spacious with towel robes also provided. Breafast was superb. Close to shops and resteraunts, and train station few minutes walk away. Highly Recommended this hotel.

08/05/2026: Had the best meal of our Genova trip. Beautiful Michelin quality food, and presentation. Really phenomenal!!

30/04/2026: Returned to this lovely little place. The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive and courteous. The wait was a little too long. Luckily, we had a table of wonderful friends! The chefs offered the sour cherry liqueur in delightful little glasses.

18/03/2026: I returned to try it again after a good visit, but this time I wasn't satisfied. I found the restaurant's walls stained and peeling. The dishes were downsized, and the bill was too high for what you get. The bread basket and breadsticks were excellent.

22/02/2026: This was my second experience here, and I have to say I had a great time again... the place is small and welcoming. I recommend the tasting menu for a surprise dinner... yes, to the Customer Care. Excellent products, delicate flavors. Perhaps I could make a criticism, to be picky about some things regarding the renovation of the space... the walls, the chairs, which in my opinion could be improved, but just to find a flaw, that's it... Nothing to say about the service in general. So, recommended especially for intimate dinners for the welcoming and quiet atmosphere.

21/05/2026: Everything was excellent. As a meat lover, it's become one of my favorite places! Everything is good, even the starters are excellent, and the staff is all friendly and helpful. I've been there four times already, and I'll definitely be back.

26/04/2026: Come and enjoy a fantastic Pinsa here! They speak French, the service is super friendly, and the pinsaiolo, an elderly Italian, makes devilishly good Pinsa 😍 Don't hesitate to venture into town for lunch. You can eat outside in the small side street, which is what we did for a party of six!

15/05/2026: Unfortunately, our reservation was suddenly cancelled without explanation just one hour before! It's a shame; the restaurant's planning needs to be better! If there's no space available at that time, they shouldn't accept reservations in advance!

26/04/2026: We were staying at the hotel and wanted to try the restaurant. The view was magnificent, but we were very disappointed with the food, which we found quite bland, even the chocolate dessert. A disappointing €200 meal for two… The aperitif at the Skyr bar, however, was very good.

10/06/2026: The food and atmosphere were good but the service was very poor. We asked for the bill on 3 separate occasions begore being given it. Given bread that they charged for without asking and when tipping the waitress, she didn’t say thank you at all. Just completely blanked us and walked away. Service just felt incredibly rude since we arrived.

08/06/2026: Tourist trap. We chose Ristorante Strainer with high expectations and ordered Spaghetti alla Carbonara to try the traditional version of this iconic Italian dish. The food was good and we enjoyed the meal itself. What left a very negative impression, however, was the pricing. It was surprising to discover that a single Spritz and a dessert cost more than the main course. In my view, when drinks or desserts are priced higher than a pasta dish, it raises questions about value for money and pricing transparency. As shown in the bill, the carbonara was reasonably priced, but the cost of the drink and dessert felt excessive. Unfortunately, this overshadowed an otherwise pleasant meal and is the main reason for my low rating. There are many restaurants in Portofino, and I would encourage visitors to check prices carefully before ordering.
