26/10/2025: This review is for Zeus Sky Bar only as we didn’t eat at the restaurant. We arrived without a reservation about an hour before sunset (in June), and were seated straightaway. I’m not exaggerating when I say the view is absolutely breathtaking, even all the stunning photos shared here cannot do it justice- it has to be seen to be believed. We did the 20€pp aperitivo option, which included a signature cocktail and a selection of antipasti. The cocktails were beautiful and delicious. We stayed long after sunset and loved it so much that before leaving, we booked a table for our last night in Sestri Levante, a couple of days later! We fell in love with Sestri Levante on this holiday, and this rooftop bar really shows it off in all its glory.

17/10/2025: A pleasant and relaxing experience, with professional, polite, and always helpful waitstaff. I was particularly impressed by Mirko, a young, polite, and very helpful man. I will definitely return next year with my wife and son to sample the restaurant's specialties and enjoy the refined, warm atmosphere.

14/12/2025: A colorful trattoria located inside the Continental Hotel. The location remains welcoming and original. The Ligurian specialties (especially fish) were fabulous and of high quality (it's a shame about the apple pie, which was really too creamy). The wines and dessert wines were good. The service was fast and well-managed, with very friendly staff.

13/12/2025: A very well-kept and, above all, welcoming restaurant with professional staff. I drank Bulgheri wine and ate Genoese focaccia with cheese, finishing with a passito wine and a wonderful chestnut dessert. The dishes were few, but definitely good.

26/09/2025: Buonissimo! While passing through Santa Margherita Ligure, we were looking for a place to eat and decided to go to Oca Bianca. And from the starter to the dessert, we were not disappointed! Everything was perfect!! We received a very warm welcome, with very pleasant and friendly staff. And the food was simply delicious!! It's simple: I'd love the same restaurant in Geneva so I could go there every week! 🤍

14/11/2025: The food was good, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by the extremely rude staff. Despite our courtesy, we didn't even receive a response to our "thank yous." Their cold and unprofessional attitude made it difficult to fully appreciate the place. It's a shame, because the food deserves much better.

04/12/2025: Nice hotel — but a baffling and frustrating experience at the front desk. At check-in, we were greeted not with a welcome, but with a banner about a “gratitude payment” — essentially a voluntary tip scheme. Since we were only staying one night and had no meaningful interaction with staff, I called to opt out. I was told they would “check my bill” to make sure it was removed. Next morning? Still there. I was already on a business call while my family tried to check out, and instead of handling it smoothly, the staff insisted payment had to be made with a physical card. Out of patience, I tapped my phone — and it worked instantly. No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. For a hotel claiming five stars, this felt more like amateur hour. Good service isn’t about surprise “gratitude fees” — it’s about communication, competence, and knowing when to get out of the way so guests can enjoy their stay — and actually get on with their planned journey without unnecessary friction. Edit: funny answer - did they even READ my post? I did call them the day before and it was still on the invoice.

01/12/2025: Beautifully decorated and clean hotel. Great breakfast and location. Unfortunately, the management falls short on customer service. We were “upgraded” to this hotel immediately after booking the neighbouring hotel, which we selected specifically for its spa. Nowhere was it communicated that the spa was unavailable at either hotels - from the time of booking right up until check in. At check in, the staff did not offer any compensatory or complimentary services to make up for this lack of critical communication.

11/11/2025: Traditional food in a traditional setting. Some of the best food I’ve had. Highly recommended. You won’t regret eating here

09/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining here with my family, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The dishes were excellent, truly delicious; they follow tradition, but with a touch of originality. The house wine was truly excellent. The staff who accompanied us during dinner were kind, helpful, and engaging. My partner is vegan, and having mentioned this when booking over the phone, they offered him some truly valid alternatives, which almost never happens. A truly excellent experience. We all left enthusiastic. I'm very picky about pesto, being used to my grandmother's, but their pesto is truly tasty, light, and not too salty—just right, I'd say. Thank you!

19/08/2025: A small restaurant along the Aurelia road, near the Sestri train station. Tasty food, especially seafood, and excellent minestrone soup. Moderate prices.

08/11/2025: All the dishes are delicious, delicate, and unique, even the simple trofie with pesto are exquisite. We'll definitely be returning.

13/11/2025: A review isn't enough to describe the positive experience of dining at VoltaLaCarta Restaurant. I had the opportunity to celebrate my graduation party with my family, and Stefania was helpful and extremely kind from the very first moment. The attention to detail, the attentiveness of the staff, and the warm welcome we received made us feel more than just like we were in a restaurant, but rather welcomed, as if we were in their home. The food is delicious, high-quality, and thanks to the Chef's explanations, we were able to appreciate the history and passion behind each dish. I highly recommend it, not just for a simple dinner, but for a truly enjoyable experience, in every detail.

02/10/2025: We've visited over twenty Michelin-starred restaurants around the world; Le Cantine deserves a star. Every detail is taken care of, the authenticity of the local products is respected, but the flavor combinations are refined, interesting, and perfectly executed. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming yet elegant.

03/10/2025: Every aspect of the evening was amazing. Our hosts took such good care of us and the food was extraordinary. We love Italian food. The from pasta Bolognese made perfectly to mussels in wine sauce and spaghetti vongole... Everything was great. But the crown was the special pasta with truffles made in a parmesan wheel. I've tried this dish at many restaurants, but now I understand why it is such a specialty. Dessert topped it off with tiramisu and a ricotta cake with chocolate sauce.
