16/06/2025: I returned to this dream place for an aperitif.....aperitif formula €20, too bad they bring very little compared to what I remembered last year, a small square of focaccia, a shrimp with mayonnaise and a quarter of a brioche with a little ham, end of the aperitif, we were all a little disappointed. Luckily the place is worth it... the view is fantastic, we are locals and I don't know if we will return

09/06/2025: Unique experience❤️ The restaurant is located inside the Hotel Vis à Vis and offers a spectacular view of the Baia del Silenzio and the Baia delle Favole. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere is something magical! Refined dishes and quality raw materials. We had a risotto with wasabi and oysters, a large raw fish where there was also sushi prepared by the chef and finally a sea bream in salt accompanied by potatoes and vegetables (the fish was cleaned so well that we didn't find even a bone, congratulations!). The service was impeccable: kind and helpful staff. To conclude they offered us a small tray of pastries and some liqueurs made by them, which were also delicious! The quality/price ratio was also excellent. Everything lived up to expectations, highly recommended!

15/05/2025: Wow, just wow. Anyone who enjoys authentic Italian cuisine with truly amazing seafood and fish will be in the best hands here. Super delicious, great ambiance, reasonable prices, and perfect service. Since everything is cooked fresh in-house, they can accommodate any requests, and everything we tried was simply delicious. For example, there wasn't a dessert on the menu that I liked. The chef said he had something else and brought out a wonderful cake. Insanely delicious and highly recommended.

30/06/2025: We originally booked a family room at the Hotel Continental. My wife booked here because she liked the decor (fish themed). We were informed when we tried to check in that we were being moved to the Savoia. I asked if we could stay at the Continental and was informed it would have to be approved by a manager, which at the time, after traveling all morning with the family, seemed like a hassle. The room at the Savoy had a pull out bed which was too short for my son and uncomfortable for both my son and daughter to share. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the 7th floor and had a bad experience. First off, the head waiter was rude and very short with us because we hadn't made a reservation despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty. He seated us inside, although there were tables on the patio that were unoccupied for the entire duration of our time there. We really didn't mind sitting inside but if he wanted to, he could have easily moved us to the patio. Then, my wife and I both ordered a glass of local ligurian red wine and when I requested a second glass, the waitress (who seemed genuinely fearful of the head waiter) brought a different, already opened, bottle to our table. She poured me a glass, and from simply smelling it, I could tell the wine was bad. It tastes like vinegar . I told her the wine was bad, and asked for a different glass, preferably the same ligurian wine I had ordered earlier and she simple said no and took the glass away. I was still charged for the glass. One good experience was at the upstairs bar, which is why I have given a 3 star review instead of a 2 star review. The bartender was great and we had a good experience there earlier in the day. Overall, this was not a good experience and I would not return.

29/06/2025: I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The staff entered our room without any notice or permission, which was a serious invasion of privacy. To make things worse, we were forced to leave the hotel just 10 minutes past checkout time, with no courtesy call or warning. The way the situation was handled felt aggressive and unprofessional. Instead of a polite reminder or any flexibility, we were treated rudely and asked to leave immediately. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and this kind of behavior is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless the management takes steps to improve how the staff treats guests.

16/06/2025: Beautiful experience in a real Ligurian trattoria, very kind and attentive waiting staff, impeccable service, dishes pleasing to the eye and delicious to the palate, clean place and relaxing atmosphere, recommended.

12/06/2025: A great discovery. A specific gluten-free menu suitable for celiacs. From appetizers to desserts. Highly recommended. They give you a bread basket with various snacks.

07/06/2025: I have always been fascinated by the place: I must say that it did not disappoint expectations, very intimate and quiet place, impeccable service; the girls are really friendly. As for the food you can feel the quality of the products used, everything was more than appreciated, special desserts. The quality-price ratio is excellent.

28/05/2025: If I could give more stars I would have! Over the top food!! Really compliments to the kitchen staff. The girls in the dining room are really competent and very helpful.. The location, however, in my personal taste, reminds you of a typical Tuscan tavern, well-kept with exposed brick, wines on display.. vote? Ten!! As good foreigners we hope to return soon!

02/06/2025: Raramente mi è capitato di mangiare in un locale dove tutto è perfetto, all'oca bianca abbiamo trovato un servizio raffinato ed  elegante, materie prime di ottima qualità, piatti  molto originali e curatissimi disponibilità cortesia e altissima professionalità. Il locale è gestito da ragazzi giovani ma con una grandissima esperienza che sanno come prendersi cura del cliente  ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo Sicuramente torneremo grazie per averci fatto passare una serata davvero speciale

26/05/2025: We went for dinner on a Saturday evening in this restaurant with a very varied land and fish menu; very kind and fast staff; very clean environment; not chaotic, quiet; excellent fresh fish dishes and very well cared for; light and refined cuisine without heavy sauces; right portions; both the appetizers and the first and second courses and the exquisite desserts .... we will return hopefully soon! Very spacious environment; we dined on the terrace, very beautiful .... I would really recommend this restaurant to everyone with an excellent quality / price ratio, and a stone's throw from the seafront!

31/05/2025: Great experience in this former brothel restaurant. The dishes are very selected and prepared with taste and skill. The staff is very kind. If I really have to find a flaw, it is that when it fills up with customers there is a bit too much confusion.

30/05/2025: I went to this cute little place for dinner and I was really impressed. An elegant but relaxed atmosphere, a real hidden gem. The dishes were really good and with quality ingredients. The service was impeccable: attentive, kind and never intrusive. It is one of those places that you would like to recommend to everyone, but at the same time keep only for yourself. I really hope that in the future there will be the right turnout, because they deserve it!

27/05/2025: A corner of Portugal in the heart of Genoa. In a very characteristic and suggestive setting you can taste many specialties, definitely try one of the variations of Baccalà! A kind and attentive service. Recommended for a lunch with friends 💖

10/06/2025: All good until the sauce accompanying the mixed fried food.. all night with the heaviness of garlic on my stomach. Good job the dining room staff for helping me, but I recommend writing on the menu so that the customer knows what's in the sauce or at least communicating it to the table.

07/06/2025: Polpo Mario is a historic place, full of charm and tradition. The authentic atmosphere is combined with excellent cuisine, where fresh fish is the absolute protagonist. Each dish is carefully prepared and delicious. The staff is always friendly and professional, making the experience impeccable. A must-see for those who love true Ligurian cuisine!

22/05/2025: Casi siempre marcamos la opción "Vista Escénica" en los filtros TA, pero se nos permitió elegir durante nuestra visita a la ciudad costera de Camogli, Italia. A menudo nos preocupamos un poco por los restaurantes basados en hoteles que tememos que hayan terminado, con un precio que cubre sus gastos generales extensos, pero Il Doge valió la pena la pequeña prima. Los langostinos a la parrilla eran algunos de los mejores que habíamos probado - condimento encantador, cáscara principal cortésmente quitado, cocinado justo para estar tierno y jugoso. Tenía la pasta de mariscos que era delicioso. Una ventaja adicional era que su terraza tenía toldos y el clima pronosticaba algunas duchas que pasaban por allí. Así que pudimos sentarnos bajo su protección y disfrutar de nuestras vistas panorámicas a pesar de un toque de inclemencias del tiempo.

15/03/2025: Cena meravigliosa . Piatti di un livello altissimo ma con sapori della tradizione . Materia prima di qualità e gentilezza e professionalità anche in sala . Non parliamo della vista che si gode . Felici anche i nostri bambini di 8 e 10 anni che hanno apprezzato sia il menù dedicato a loro che i primi come gnocchi al burro e salvia e trofie al pesto del menù normale . Grazie ci siamo sentiti proprio coccolati .

02/06/2025: The most incredible food, service, interiors, chef, servers, taste, atmosphere, etc. I tried to practice my Italian and they responded back with a very respectful mix of Italian and English, which felt very kind and encouraging. We didn't even have to wait for a table, altogether an exceptional experience.
