26/08/2025: Elsa Bistrot, a place with tables and chairs on the beach, very basic but different from the others. I must say I had a great time. We tasted delicious focaccias in various flavors, generous amounts of ingredients, and various appetizers, accompanied by a good pitcher of beer—actually, two, since it was so cozy. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly. I forgot, we didn't pay service, whereas other places in the same location do. I don't remember the name of the bartender, who also offered us a selection of liqueurs... thank you. What can I say? I'll gladly return with friends.

23/08/2025: I'll start with the only good thing: the location: tables on the beach, fairy lights, and a unique atmosphere. However, the music was so loud, you couldn't hear your neighbor. Service: The staff were super annoyed; they showed us to our table with their eyes rolled into the air and continued serving us in a huff. We didn't receive menus at the beginning, nor cutlery or napkins afterwards. A question to the management: how do you eat giardiniera without bread, cutlery, or napkins? Price: €16 for such a small platter... I was speechless. The platter—cold cuts, cheeses, and giardiniera without bread, cutlery, or napkins—was good. The price of the (watered-down) drinks, however, was fair, average. In conclusion, I was extremely embarrassed in front of the guests I had brought. I will never return and I strongly advise against it.

27/08/2025: Let's start with the positives: it's a 5-minute walk from the sea, but it's also right next to the railway, so you can hear the trains when they pass. The building is old; our room was small and dated, poorly furnished, with a somewhat soft mattress and a bit dirty. Considering the price, I'm sure we won't be returning.

24/08/2025: Absolutely no, no, no, no, small room where you constantly bang your head. The furnishings are old and poorly maintained. No elevator. The noise of the train even at night disturbs sleep. And to top it all off, the room smelled like sewage from the bathroom. The staff was rude and unfriendly. The only positive was the breakfast buffet, which didn't reflect the excessive cost of this poorly maintained facility.

11/08/2025: I'm giving one star because less is the best... We were treated like garbage by the owner who, despite receiving nothing but politeness from us, from the moment we ordered to the moment we paid, welcomed us with scathing remarks and visible impatience. After providing us with a sorbet (€8 per portion—who knows where the finances are in these situations...), which we paid for with a smile despite the price, we sat down at a table outside the restaurant. After just five minutes, we were repeatedly harassed by the waiter, who, in an extremely rude manner, asked us to vacate the table for people who had spent more. Not content, we pointed out to the waiter that we were also paying customers, and the owner came out to up the ante, with the manner of a true lady... Being lucky enough to have a shop in Positano doesn't give you the right to treat customers, especially polite ones, like garbage.
