21/08/2024: This is the first time I've written a negative review. Usually, if I'm not satisfied I simply avoid writing. In this case, however, it is unfortunately a must. The two of us arrived for lunch at 12.45pm and left at 2.18pm to avoid having to wait forever after having eaten only the first plate of cold appetizer, one and only course in an hour and a half. Cost €24. It takes courage.

18/08/2024: You can't pay €15 for a tiny chicken cutlet and chips for children while having a fixed fish menu for €20. No exaggeration!!!!

13/08/2024: We took a fried dish, a medium beer and a small one, 2 cutlets, one Mediterranean and one Abbruzzese. Strong flavors, but not cloying. The Mediterranean is decidedly lighter thanks to the presence of salad and smoked scamorza instead of Abruzzo pecorino cream.

11/08/2024: We feel singularly lucky to have come to this amazing place on planet Earth. The host, Danio is an unbelievably wonderful person. The chef Donatello has magic of love in his hands and then the beautiful lady, Sabina manning the bar is an ever smiling face. Be prepared to leave your heart behind. We lost ours.

13/08/2024: ho festeggiato l 11 agosto il mio 18esimo compleanno, è stato tutto meraviglioso, curato in ogni dettaglio, il maitre e la signora giovanna mi hanno accompagnata, accontentata e consigliata nelle mie decisioni, per rendere unico questo momento. Menù delizioso, welcome drink super sfizioso e per nulla banale, primo buonissimo, tutti si sono complimentati, abbiamo mangiato e bevuto, tutto di ottima qualità! torta su un altro livello, spaziale!

11/08/2024: We went to the restaurant for dinner (they also have dinner on Thursday and Saturday, at least in this period) AWFUL! We will definitely not return, we had cold and hot appetizers: poor quality and very small portions, €13 for hot and €13 for cold (3 microscopic tastings), never mind the service... I highly recommend avoiding it! One star because zero is not possible.

23/06/2024: A conferma dell'altra recensione conferma che la cucina di Gelindo è eccezionale. Come solito abbiamo prenotato, arrivati subito accolti dalla titolare la quale ci ha fatto scegliere il tavolo. Serviti dal beverage siamo passati alla comanda con antipasto freddo, mezze maniche agli scampi, un tris di pesce e spiedini di calamari. A chiudere contorni di patatine fritte e insalata 🥗. Sublime tutte le pietanze erano ben calibrate. Tutto eccellente. Rapporto qualità prezzo nella media

04/02/2024: Terrible experience.. Saturday evening at 9pm for an aperitif, I enter greeting in a polite way and the owner doesn't even look at me in the face, he approached me asking if I could sit down and even there he turns with his back to me and no response.. I wait another 10 minutes in front to him but the result hasn't changed... nothing, I leave the room comfortably as if nothing had happened... absolutely absurd

11/11/2023: The aperitif was excellent, the breakfasts were also good. Courteous staff.

11/08/2024: We arrived early around 8.15pm, immediately ordered pizza and beer, quick and precise service. The pizzas were good but for my standards a little small in size, as the place filled up a little more let's say they had to wait a little too long to order dessert but all in all a pleasant evening. Plus they have a children's play area which is very convenient for those who go with the whole family.

09/08/2024: Very nice place, especially in summer, where you eat in a beautiful garden. Especially suitable for those with children because it has a large fenced area dedicated to them, with giant inflatables. Their menu also has tasty dishes dedicated to the little ones, which is rare in restaurants. The waiters are all very kind, like Luca, the owner, always available to find you a table even if it's late. I recommend it, both for the food and if you have children, because they will have a lot of fun, while you can dine in peace.

24/07/2024: Location caratteristica, pesce freschissimo, tutto molto buono, vino ottimo. Il titolare e la figlia sono gentilissimi e premurosi, e ti fanno sentire a casa. Prezzi onesti, commisurati alla qualità. Sicuramente torneremo!

11/08/2024: Pastry shop overlooking a state road, but the outdoor tables are welcoming and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff, fair prices. Very good cappuccino, the croissants and pastries are home-made, the variety is not huge but those offered are very good and fresh.

12/07/2024: Excellent breakfasts for whatever needs you might have! Excellent quality handmade pastas and various delicacies in the laboratory adjacent to the bar. However, I give 3 stars to the service, since sometimes it happened that the staff, especially on holidays, had a bit of difficulty managing the customers and brought us different things to those we ordered; I realize that, especially on Saturdays and Sundays, there is a great amount of work and therefore these situations may happen to occur, however, as a Local Guide, I am called upon to accurately describe the places I have visited and therefore both to praise or, sometimes, to criticize certain aspects that I didn't like... the "criticism" that I address to you must be taken in a constructive way, to improve the quality of the service, since, as already said previously, the pastas are excellent, in fact I gave the food 5 stars. As far as the environment is concerned, I give 4 stars because first of all I wouldn't mind if there were more seats outside even if I realize that that's the space available; then because I am not a fan of street activities, especially a very busy road like the National Adriatica, even though I understand that, from a visibility point of view, it is an excellent strategic position. In general, however, I recommend going to this bar, essentially to taste their handmade pasta, a peculiarity that certainly cannot be found in other places!
