19/04/2026: We chose this restaurant to celebrate our son's baptism last Sunday. The dishes were truly delicious, carefully prepared, and enjoyed by all our guests, making the experience a positive one from a culinary perspective.
The charming location, too, is a strong point of the restaurant.
Unfortunately, however, the service didn't live up to expectations. The staff proved unprofessional: the dishes were served rather brusquely, almost slammed on the table, and especially some of the girls seemed annoyed and bothered by our simple requests.
It's truly a shame, because the quality of the food deserves adequate service. With more attention to the customer, the experience would have been decidedly better.
This review is intended to be constructive and help improve the service, because the place deserves it.
17/04/2026: I chose Casa del Gelso for my graduation party and was completely satisfied. Great professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. Everything was impeccably organized. Highly recommended!

13/10/2025: Excellent as usual. I've been going to Margazzillo for a while now. Never a problem, impeccable service, delicious food, and a great location. It's absolutely the best restaurant in Pescara, and I've never had a single mistake in all the years I've been going there. The price is in line with what's offered; just visit other restaurants in the area where the prices are more or less similar to Margazzillo's, but neither the quality of the food nor the professionalism of the service are comparable.
10/10/2025: The best, and still among the top 3 restaurants in Pescara. It's always the best.

During the Christmas season, they set up a large area of Christmas stalls with characters dressed as elves, Mickey Mouse, etc., as well as a large nativity scene.

If you want a truly authentic Italian experience, this is the place to come.

We chose this restaurant for Easter Monday lunch and were extremely satisfied. The set menu was excellent: every course was carefully prepared, plentiful, and above all delicious.
The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was welcoming and perfect, even for the kids, who had a wonderful time.
A wonderful day spent with friends and family, relaxing and enjoying good food. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.
