07/11/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times. The setting is very charming, located in a rustic setting in the historic center of Lanciano. The atmosphere is very intimate and pleasant, thanks in part to the background music, and the waiters are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent; the menu features excellent traditional Lanciano and Abruzzo dishes. I highly recommend the rintrocilo with ragù and the cheese and egg balls. The meat is also excellent. In my opinion, the prices are very reasonable for the quality. A truly excellent place.

17/02/2026: My personal experience. The reservation was made via a link received on WhatsApp, super intuitive and helpful for managing everyone's needs. My husband, I, and my almost 7-month-old baby were there. I had requested a quiet table that would allow me to place the stroller with my baby, and luckily, we were accommodated. First, I'll list the most positive aspects for me: - The staff was incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable and kind, ready to accommodate any request (for example, I asked for a hundred things to make my son's food, and they were precise and quick). - Some truly delicious and unique dishes that are hard to find. - Some meats are hard to find, so the variety of options available is interesting. - The ability to modify your reservation with special requests at any time up to a few hours before the reservation. - The Angus arrosticini are truly spectacular, as is the beef tartare! Now let's move on to the negative aspects for me: - tables too close together, really too close together, it's even difficult to walk between them (for example, I was regularly bumped into from behind by anyone who passed behind me, except the waiters, who have now become eels, rightly so...) Maybe what I would do, especially during low-traffic periods, is remove a few tables to make more space, thus using a bit of strategy, or at least seat customers at tables that are strictly one-on-one, at least that would give people a chance to breathe a little... If, on the other hand, they prefer to crowd everyone to one side to save a corner on cleaning at the end of the evening... In that case, I raise my hands! - little interest in what the customer is eating... Let me explain. Every time my plate was taken away, I was never asked what I thought, if I liked it, or anything else... And this really bothers me because it almost seems like they take it for granted that everything is good... And given their attention to the customer, I basically wouldn't have expected this aspect to be missing! - I put it on the changing table, it's unhygienic! I mean, it's a real danger for babies who are being changed. Even if it were cleaned leaf by leaf every day (which is impossible to do even at home, I understand), it still wouldn't be clean enough for a newborn to put in his mouth. You know, it only takes two seconds, the time it takes for someone to take their diaper out of their bag, and they've already got it in their mouth... between dust and other things that can get stuck there... It's dangling and easy for them to grab. I recommend either removing it or replacing it with something non-snagable! - placemats, a nice idea, but the type chosen is really unhygienic! Since it's made of fabric, it absorbs everything—bacteria, dirt of all kinds. Mine wasn't very clean, but I left it there, suspecting it might be stains that won't wash off... - lack of attention in tasting the dishes the chef brings out. I think the chef, or whoever is in charge, doesn't try all the dishes, if not all of them. For example, if the entree I received had been tasted beforehand, it would never have reached my table. It was really rubbery and cold, and I thought, either it had been reheated and sent to the dining room, or the meat wasn't very fresh and therefore had that rubbery effect in my mouth. I couldn't eat it (and frankly, I didn't call the waiter to tell him because I wanted to eat with my husband and didn't have time to wait for it to be cooked again, so I preferred not to say anything and settle for my arrosticini). Overall, I had a good time, but in my opinion, there are some areas for improvement, which I've listed above. Again, this is my personal experience, so it's subjective! I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu that piqued my interest! See you soon.

14/02/2026: Dinner for two, a €20 platter of industrial-strength cold cuts, pre-sliced ​​and probably not stored properly, as they were dry and dried out, accompanied by three half slices of bread. Second course, T-bone. We asked for 1 kg, but it wasn't possible. A minimum of 1.2 kg was enough. We agreed, and they brought us 1.5 kg because, according to the waiter, "it came out a little too big." We didn't ask for the doneness because it was assumed to be rare, "rightly so." It arrived cooked on the outside and slightly warm on the inside, completely raw even for us, who prefer it rare. Plus, water, two place settings, and two side dishes, totaling €152.50. We didn't argue, so as not to ruin our dinner—it was Valentine's Day, after all—and because we just wanted to get out of there.

22/03/2026: We stumbled upon this gem when searching for a local pizza and dinner place while visiting Abruzzo. We were greeted immediately upon entering, seated, and had a chance to check out the digital menu. Maria and Roberto(our 2 servers)were very enthusiastic and smiled the entire time we were there. We ordered antipasto, pizza, arrosticini, wine, and spectacular french fries. All items exceeded expectations. We will be back!

31/01/2026: After a long time we returned to this place. It should be noted that it was a weekday evening, in fact, there were 6 or 7 of us in total in the place. We asked for chips and then bruschetta and arrosticini, kindly asking for them to be brought together. Moral of the story: chips were fine. After a long time, the bruschetta arrived. About 10 minutes later, I asked the waiter for arrosticini. His answer? They're on their way. Since they weren't arriving anymore, we ate the bruschetta cold. Shortly after, the much-desired arrosticini finally arrived, but... completely cold. We tried some that were inedible, we got up, paid the bill, and left. Never again. I think you need to overhaul the service. These things shouldn't happen even when the place is full. I definitely don't recommend it.

14/12/2025: Given that I'm a saxophonist, DJ, and entertainer... And given that I never write reviews for venues, I was contacted by an association as a musician for an event at this venue. It was truly magical: fantastic food, top-notch staff (the owner, Carmine, was very kind; his son Luca was also very helpful; the waiters were no exception!), attention to detail in the decor and Christmas-themed details... Etc. etc. etc. Everything was exceptional! The venue is located in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), and I couldn't bring my car to bring my equipment. Carmine handed me the keys to his car and allowed me to use it (alone!) to transport the instruments from the parking lot to the venue. I can't help but be happy to have spent this day with them. The rooms are very simple, ideal for those with no specific needs, offering a beautiful view and surrounded by nature. I only stayed one night, but Angela's sweet breakfast and her kindness will make me want to return if I'm ever in the area again! Recommended place
