05/02/2025: Great food. Reasonable prices and the owner is so cool with great sense of humour. It's family run. His mother and wife manage the kitchen wonderfully. Everything is typical Abruzzese. We became friends with Nicolo' after I ordered a Coke and he turned to my wife and told her in a serious tone "I see you've brought your kid along with you". He then broke into a smile. Just love the place.

05/01/2025: Three adjectives to define Cantina del Tripio: authentic, truthful, genuine. It was a wonderful discovery and the perfect experience to end an intense day full of beautiful things. The environment is simple and rustic, you can feel the warmth of home. We were welcomed by Nicola, the owner, who together with his wife who is in the kitchen, manages the cellar. Oil and wine are produced in-house and that Montepulciano is five stars! But he's not the only one. We had the cheese and egg balls and what can we say? Nothing! Too good! Then a little guitar with porcini mushrooms which at the first forkful made me taste the homemade pasta, delicious, and the tripe with a side of potatoes, both very good. A pleasant chat with Nicola and our day ended on a high note. Thank you. When we return to Guardiagrele we will definitely return! Oscar had a great time too!

05/01/2025: Very basic restaurant and home cooking. Good location, easy to get to, and with easy parking along the street. I was very satisfied with the price and quality of the food, the guitar with lamb sauce was excellent (score: 9), the shin was good (score: 8) and the roast potatoes were decent. Friendly and approachable staff, although due to the crowding, the service was not the fastest. It was a splendid day and we took advantage of it to have lunch outdoors: really pleasant, in the mountains and in winter.....

29/12/2024: We come across this place, recommended by friends. We ate outdoors, despite the snow on the roadside. An excellent first course and an exquisite second course. Judging by the reservations, the place is very popular. When I'm in the area, stopping again will be a must.

01/03/2025: I had dinner at the La Sorgente pizzeria and was extremely satisfied. The "Prosciutto San Daniele 18 months, PDO smoked buffalo" pizza is a delight. The service was courteous and attentive, and the environment was welcoming. In short, La Sorgente is a jewel of Abruzzo cuisine. If you are in Guardiagrele, don't miss the opportunity to taste their delicacies. Final rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

22/11/2024: Cliente da anni, nulla da dire sulla qualità del prodotto, anche se l'aumento dei prezzi è stato eccessivo: magari 1 euro in più può non sembrare molto, ma se parliamo di 1 euro su 5, l'aumento è del 20%, e non è poca cosa! Saltuariamente ho ordinato l'asporto con la consegna a domicilio nella mia zona, arrivando a tollerare un ritardo di ben 20 minuti, perché il navigatore non li portava esattamente sul posto! Ci può stare, siamo umani! Questa sera, però, per la prima volta, benché avessi richiesto loro il menù circa un'ora prima, ho inviato l'ordine con 6 minuti di ritardo, per una urgente questione familiare, chiedendo la cortesia che venisse accettato comunque. Prontamente mi è stato risposto un secco NO, al quale non ho replicato, pensando che sicuramente le consegne fossero già partite. Poiché non volevo deludere mio figlio al quale lo avevo promesso, mi sono recata di persona, ho ordinato, aspettato e ritirato almeno il panino del bambino. La mia grossa delusione arriva nel momento in cui vedo che la macchina per la consegna a domicilio parte proprio nel momento in cui io ritiro il mio ordine. Se ho fatto in tempo io ad andare, ordinare, pagare, ritirare e loro a farlo, avrebbero sicuramente potuto accettare l'ordine ARRIVATO ECCEZIONALMENTE CON SOLI 6 MINUTI DI RITARDO. Ovviamente ho chiesto spiegazioni e sono stata liquidata brevemente, con la risposta che accettano ordini solo fino alle 19! Per completezza aggiungo che ho una discreta esperienza lavorativa nella ristorazione, e so per certo che 6 minuti si recuperano senza alcuna difficoltà, se c'è la vocazione del rapporto con il cliente, che non è una cosa da tutti! Ho raccontato l'intera vicenda con una buona dose di dettagli, ma senza screditare in alcun modo il prodotto, che ripeto essere di qualità adeguata al fast food, in maniera tale che ogni utente possa provare ad immedesimarsi ed a sviluppare un personale giudizio sulla vicenda, che so di per certo non essere un caso isolato, ma non posso parlare di qualcosa che esula dalla mia esperienza personale. Auguro ai ragazzi di ritrovare la motivazione e l'entusiasmo iniziali, evitando che una eccessiva fiscalità non necessaria sia a discapito della relazione con il cliente: siamo tutti necessari, nessuno indispensabile!

E così mi piace vergare ✍️ due righe su questa Location del Chietino dove l’arte 👨‍🍳 della Pasticceria è molto performante ! Begli ambienti ariosi sapientemente arredati , servizio decisamente positivo , prodotti dolciari molto appetitosi , prezzi abbordabili …. sono le peculiarità del Luogo . A noi sono molto piaciute queste peculiarità ….. 😋😋😋😋😋😋

29/09/2024: locale piccolo ma funzionale , in una zona antica di Guardiagrele. Cameriere gentile, ma proprietario leggermente ansioso , che ogni tanto non si rivolgeva cortesemente ai clienti , cucina buona , in qualche antipasto c’era un leggero sentore di umido … forse dovuto al locale stesso che è , come già detto in un luogo che sembrerebbe scavato nella roccia. Lodevoli le quantità , qualche colpo di genio nei caldi , che avevano una marcia in più . Piccola critica : gli abbinamenti per contrasto. Le idee sono ottime, ma mai si usi un topping ai frutti di bosco che si usa nella panna cotta come “marmellata ai frutti di bosco” il rischio di rovinare le buone intenzioni è altissimo ! Il contrasto deve contenere acidità e non dolcezza zuccherina ! Comunque, tornerò per provare altri piatti , e per dare 5 stelle! Ps dolci un po’ debolucci… sono sicuro che possono fare molto di più

02/02/2025: Pastry bar located on the main street of Guardiagrele. For months it was my "good morning" almost every morning with a good coffee and sometimes even with a croissant. Mignon, dry pastries and fresh pasta were available as early as 7.15 in the morning... and everything is delicious. Advised.
