19/08/2024: One star for the location and one for the staff, spectacular. For the rest, nothing special, for 70 euros per person I expect at least one fried fish as a second course, not two very small fried anchovies as an appetizer. Furthermore, the portions of the first courses were really small (less than half a ladle). There was black rice with two mini prawns (they looked like those from supermarkets), and trofie with cod (or another oily fish). I repeat, for 70 euros a fry is a must but also a decent first course such as seafood pasta

31/08/2024: Sono stata invitata ad un aperitivo di compleanno dove la festeggiata ha richiesto un menu adeguato per me ed un’altra ragazza in stato di gravidanza. Nonostante quindi siano stati avvisati e abbiano ribadito nel momento dell’inizio del servizio che avrebbero proposto un menu ad Hoc, questo ovviamente non è avvenuto.
Mi propongono: salmone affumicato (“perché affumicato non va bene?”), pesce spada sempre affumicato, alice marinata su bruschetta di burrata (“eh ma è del cantabrico!”) e per finire gamberetti in salamoia.
Mi cambiano il piatto inserendo quindi solo gamberi fritti e polpette fritte.
A seguire pizza e frittura indigeribili.
Concludo invitando i titolari a formare bene i loro dipendenti (dalla cucina al servizio) perché proporre cibi non adeguati può essere davvero pericoloso.

08/08/2024: Wonderful location, in general the dishes are acceptable, it is worth going for lunch/dinner for the wonderful place.
25/07/2024: The location is worth it but is extremely diminished by such a service. Terrible food, very difficult, in a seaside place like this, to cook and serve such poor food.
Tasteless appetizers, fish first course with (total) reuse of the ingredients used for the appetizer. Chewy fried, unpresentable dessert.
Poor service (they don't have many wines on offer), they don't serve wine or water. Disproportionate price.
Distance between tables non-existent: I had to independently move the table to distance it from the one next to it because I practically had the hair of adjacent diners on the table.

07/12/2023: Abbiamo scoperto un ristorante semplice e pulito sulla costa dei trabocchi ! Ristorantino sul mare , total white , delicato e buon cibo ! In una giornata uggiosa di dicembre io e dei miei amici ci siamo trovati a costeggiare la pista ciclabile fino ad arrivare davanti a questa location molto pulita anche se non direttamente sulla strada ! Decidiamo di entrare e accolti dalla titolare con molta gentilezza ci siamo accomodati ! Abbiamo ordinato degli antipastini caldi e freddi molto gustosi e freschi e dei primi al dir molto abbondanti come “Pacchero alla George “ e Risotto alla marinara “ !
Prezzo onesto !
È stata una bella scoperta, consigliatissimo!

17/08/2024: Family place, in front of the beach but very closed you can see little of the beach... very good food and service... the decoration and the atmosphere do not match
16/08/2024: I bitterly regret stopping by for dinner.
The environment is anomalous, wedding ceremony trousseaus and paintings from Venice, in Abruzzo, but this is the least serious aspect.
I don't know which nightmare recipe book it came from, the spaghetti with clams, the spaghetti was swimming in oil, I found pieces of garlic the size of a little finger inside and then the tomato????
Anyone who appreciates this dish has serious problems.
Let's not talk about frying, greasy, soft, indecent. Minimal portions, forgettable flavors, crazy prices.
In short, the worst way to end this holiday. I will definitely return to Fossacesia, I will not return to this restaurant even under threat.
