11/09/2025: Compared to last year, there's been a drastic drop in preparation and quality of the dishes offered.
Fried calamari consists of only the tails and a few tentacles. The rest of the mantle is used to prepare skewers, which, quite paltry,
were priced at €2.50 each.
The flavors also leave much to be desired.
We've been there several times last year and always had a great experience.
Too bad...

04/05/2026: My partner and I had an experience on the evening of May 2nd.
Unique location, good and friendly service, very good food.
I recommend it to anyone, like us, who is visiting this beautiful coast for the first time. Contrary to the rumors of locals who aren't particularly fond of this type of restaurant, in my opinion the quality of the food is good, as are the preparation and pairings.
The fixed menu includes several courses plus water, cover charge, and a bottle of wine, so you have to trust the chef and let yourself be guided along the journey.
Excellent experience. I recommend it.

03/05/2026: 5 stars because 6 isn't possible. Quality and courtesy. Fried calamari and mixed fried fish were excellent, plentiful, dry, and crispy. Seafood salad marinated to perfection. Excellent value for money.
18/04/2026: When coming to Italy, most of us just want to skip the tourist spots and eat exactly how the locals do. This place nails it 100 out of 100.
It’s a spotlessly clean fish shop with unbelievably fresh seafood. Honestly, the food they cook here is so much better than what you get in expensive restaurants — there is just no comparison. You eat here and feel like you belong.

26/10/2025: First time at this restaurant, and I have to say we were truly impressed. The location is truly beautiful, well-kept and well-maintained, the staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and the first courses are truly delicious—homemade pasta and sauces just like grandma's, but also innovative and tasty combinations. The meat is well-cooked and very well-prepared. The price is truly excellent for the quality and portions. We'll be back soon.

31/05/2026: If I had to rate the reception area and cleanliness of this place, I definitely wouldn't have returned.... Besides feeling like they did us a favor by letting us stay, we had a terrible aperitif sitting near a dirty table that remained that way. The anemic spritz served to us with only 2 peanuts was a real disgrace... How come the spritz at our friends' table was so colorful??...I'll never know the answer. Who's going back again!!!

11/06/2026: I didn't have the chance to try all the dishes, but the Linguine allo Scoglio alone is worth the visit. Every time I'm in the area, I make sure to stop by for it. The flavors are outstanding, and the quality is consistently excellent. Highly recommended!
07/06/2026: We visited this restaurant on a Sunday for lunch, sitting on the veranda overlooking the sea but disturbed by the traffic on the street next to the restaurant.
The first courses were excellent and very flavorful, plentiful, and truly delicious!!
The fried food was average, but less abundant than the first course.
The only downside was ordering water; we had to ask several times before they brought it.
Prices were average.
We recommend it.

05/04/2026: It was my first time eating on a trabucco, and I hope to do it again soon, even though it won't be easy from Rome, because it was a unique experience. The setting was beautiful; eating with the sound of the sea accompanying you was relaxing. The dishes were all excellent and made with quality ingredients. I really appreciated the time between courses; it gave me the chance to appreciate the view and enjoy my meal without the stress of rushing between courses.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes.

11/03/2026: I've always enjoyed this restaurant, which offers a splendid sea view, delicious fresh seafood dishes, and impeccable service. There's ample on-site parking and prices are in line with the menu.
28/12/2025: We were passing through and stopped for a bite to eat. The atmosphere was very nice. We had a set menu for two, which was very filling. The fish was very fresh.

05/05/2026: I didn't find a restaurant here...but this wonderful region on the table. They were able to recommend typical local dishes, prepared according to the traditional home cooking (in fact, I felt more like I was having a Sunday lunch with the family than a dinner in a new location), fantastic arrosticini, and an exceptional steak. The focaccia was truly superb, light dough, cooked to perfection. And finally, the dessert, a Nutella and coconut cheesecake prepared by the owner, was truly a delight. But beyond the dinner, which was enjoyed by all, the other positive note was the friendliness, professionalism, and courtesy that the owner and staff showed us, making the dinner and evening truly unforgettable. Thank you so much and many compliments!!!

14/12/2025: We took a mini vacation in Fossacesia, a beautiful, welcoming, and hospitable village. We had lunch and dinner for two days at the Bucco restaurant. Everything was delicious, the freshest fish was cooked to perfection, and the prices were top-notch. Thanks to Maria and her staff. Her son in the kitchen is an excellent chef!
