Truly a beautiful place, the food was supremely good, the dishes were beautiful and delicious, especially (we had the fish), and the desserts were also delicious!

Sunday family lunch.
We ate well, all seafood-based. The house appetizer was varied, including carpaccio, bruschetta with anchovies and peppered mussels, spaghetti allo Scoglio (seafood spaghetti) with even half a lobster, and mixed fried calamari, shrimp, and cod.
To finish, dessert was strudel with a scoop of gelato and tiramisu, both delicious.
The service was quick and courteous.
Prices were average for a seafood meal.

It was recommended to me by a co-worker who lives in Osteria Nuova, and I have to say she was absolutely right. The seafood dishes are extraordinary, especially the appetizer with seafood appetizers. The seafood spaghetti is also plentiful and tasty. In addition to seafood, there's a vast selection of meat dishes (meat, burgers, chicken, etc.) and pizzas.
A must-go place to try the other specialties.

Amazing meal, with the steak being the best we’ve had since arriving in Florence (we have had a few!) the staff are very attentive and helpful. All round a great meal and one we’d return to - hopefully soon!
