I've been to dinner several times, accompanying guests from the boat I worked on... the restaurant is worth it in every way... the view, the welcome, the professional, attentive, and friendly service... the carefully prepared dishes of an innovative cuisine that still maintains Aeolian and Sicilian traditions... the well-stocked wine cellar. You can also start the evening by booking an aperitif while admiring a spectacular sunset. The guests were enthusiastic and satisfied. We warmly thank all the staff who made our evenings relaxing and, above all, cheerful, always capable of providing a smile. PS: Book in advance... it's a very popular place.

August 19th. Getting there is certainly not easy... but the view is worth it. We went for an aperitif overlooking the sunset over the sea: beautiful! Then we had dinner. We asked for an aperitif, which they brought with a limited number of focaccia cubes, olives, and chips (not enough), but the next scene: at the next table they also brought sandwiches, with more than everything else!!! People they knew: double standards!!! Extremely unpleasant, although I understand that the customers are "yours" and you can decide to treat them however you want... but that doesn't change the fact that, having noticed this, I felt like a second-class customer since I don't know anyone. Annoying! We continued with dinner. The six of us had three revisited fish soups, seared tuna, tagliolini with seafood ragù (they brought pappardella without warning), and paccheri with tuna. Everything bordered on cheap... only one crouton in the soup. We had to ask for more: the tuna was boiled and in some places raw, rather than seared (photo). For dessert, we had cannoli: delicious. They kindly offered sesame biscuits and a small glass of Malvasia. The view is definitely worth it. The rest was nothing special! Considering that it costs €20 per person to get there by taxi (round trip - high season), 4 stars overall, but for the dinner itself: 3.5 stars.

The view alone is worth the trip. As if that weren't enough, the food is excellent. Served by courteous and friendly waiters. The bill is quite steep, but the quality makes up for it. I highly recommend it!

We searched for the best restaurants in Lipari and found Sangre Arojo. We ate wonderfully at the restaurant, with super friendly, approachable, yet always polite service. The place is beautiful and welcoming. There were five of us, and we each had an appetizer, a first course, and a bottle of wine. We paid €280. I highly recommend it.

It goes without saying that the view is incredibly evocative and worth the trip alone, but the food is equally impressive. A few dishes, but well-crafted and authentically flavorful. The waiters were all kind and helpful, even offering excellent advice on our choice of dishes. The price was in line with the island. Overall, highly recommended!
