The real star here is the location: one of those places where as soon as you enter, you understand why people come here, even just to be there. Well-kept greenery everywhere, airy spaces, and a sense of tranquility rare in the area. In summer, you can dine practically immersed in the garden, with soft lighting and an atmosphere reminiscent of a holiday dinner rather than a provincial restaurant. Inside, it's elegant yet warm, with no noisy rooms or crowded tables.
The ambiance is half the experience: silence, air, privacy, and zero hustle and bustle. Perfect for long evenings where you're not in a rush to get up. The service complements the setting well, discreet and orderly, allowing the place to come alive without constantly interrupting.
A place where you go above all to enjoy the place, not just to eat. And in fact, you'll happily stay.

Our Boxing Day lunch was a top-notch experience, in a stunning setting immersed in the greenery of Franciacorta. With warmer weather, relaxing outside in the restaurant's lush garden would have added that extra touch that, for obvious reasons, we weren't able to enjoy.
The menu, while obviously not à la carte, didn't make us miss the opportunity to choose what to order, as the dishes offered for this occasion proved to be far above the standards of many restaurants.
We began with an appetizer served in a gluten-free version, which differed substantially from the regular version but was definitely satisfying.
We then moved on to an excellent cotechino with polenta: well-deserved praise for the latter, the best I've ever had in a restaurant.
The risotto was, if possible, even better: a slightly sweet aftertaste that paired beautifully with the delicate sweet provolone and radicchio.
We continued with an exceptional pasta with meat sauce, demonstrating how, even with "simple" sauces, the quality of the ingredients makes the difference, which in this case was evident in every bite.
The next course was excellent, with perfectly cooked potatoes, very thin yet flavorful.
The tiramisu was perhaps the only "average" dish: being quite cold, I suspect it was frozen, but even if so, it certainly wasn't one of those mass-produced products served in so many places that experiment with gluten-free.
Finally, I want to applaud the exceptional quality of the gluten-free panettone: those who know me know that it's been almost 24 years since I've been able to find one of even acceptable quality. Well, here I was proven wrong: the panettone was incredibly soft, not having been obtained by reheating the slice brought to me in the oven.
Highly recommended.
