I'd been eyeing it for a while, but hadn't gotten around to it yet. Finally, the opportunity arose with the arrival of a couple of friends visiting Pavia. Expectations were not disappointed! Delicious dishes, with excellent vegetarian options (always hard to find given the predominantly meat-based tradition of local cuisine), prompt and courteous service, local wines, and a warm and cheerful atmosphere. Special mention goes to the Torta Paradiso, a type of dessert I'm not particularly fond of, but they managed to make me love it. Thanks also to the delicious mascarpone cream it's served with. I'll return again and again.

A small trattoria in Pavia with a small menu, but that's, in my opinion, the best thing about this place. A few dishes, beautifully prepared, masterfully, so as not to risk losing the restaurant's focus: simplicity in the cuisine without sacrificing quality. The staff is extremely kind, the place is welcoming, not a single detail was out of place. It's a 5-star establishment, spotlessly clean, only because that's the maximum possible, but it could also go up to 6, 7, or even more.
