The atmosphere of a wholesome trattoria really moved me. Pleasant food: 2 mushroom risottos: the mushrooms, unfortunately, were lost in a cream that provided a soft texture but didn't allow for the mushroom's flavor. Creamed cod fillet with sweet and sour onion and pepper cream: again, the flavors weren't overly strong. Herbed croaker with seasonal vegetables. Good. 1212 Mazzolino wine. Coffee. All good for a trattoria, but the price of €60 per person seemed excessive.

Great classic Italian food, awesome taste, high quality ingredients, fair price. Service friendly and quick. Possibly one of the best restaurants in Pavia.

We went to Trattoria Ressi a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful evening. The food was excellent, from the starters to the desserts, with special attention paid to those who, like me, can't eat gluten (I even got the dessert I wanted, a delicious torta paradiso with cream). The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, and the owners were very kind. Highly recommended.

04/12/2025: A very beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained restaurant with a lovely garden and vegetable garden, overlooking the exquisite kitchen. Authentic food, wonderfully well-cooked, with numerous and generous servings! Everything was truly excellent! A must-try! The appetizers galore, endless, three first courses: mushroom risotto, chestnut and ricotta salata ravioli with tomatoes, and gnocchi with Piacenza beans. Two second courses: donkey stew with polenta and pork shank with potatoes, truly delicious. Cheeses to cleanse your taste buds, along with cream cake and sorbets. Their wine in wooden buckets, coffee, and house liqueurs are excellent. Everything was perfectly cooked by the chef, with the addition of some traditional dishes by the very friendly owners. Ample parking. What can I say? I'll definitely try it again with great enthusiasm.
