A very nice little restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent cuisine, not just classic dishes, and a large wine selection. Very friendly and flexible staff.
Unfortunately, there's no terrace; in nice weather, it would be nice to enjoy the Old Town outside.

Without a doubt the best restaurant on our trip to Italy
The pasta with Botarga pistachio and straticella, the sea bass, the dark chocolate dessert, the house chadornay wine, the sardine starter, the sea bass, everything was wonderful, the friendliness and kindness of the owner Valentina and her husband
A family restaurant
We intend to have all our meals here
But without a reservation it is difficult, only locals, it is not touristy

This was one of the two best restaurants of our month long trip from Milan to Trieste. We just happened to walk past and both our funk meters went off! The place just had a good vibe. We could not get a dinner reservation (they book up about 2 weeks out) but we went for lunch twice. Their focus is seafood, with creative variations on traditional dishes.
The first day, I started with deep fried sardines, marinated with onions in a sweet vinegar. My partner started with scallops on an asparagus cream. We both had the pasta with stracciatella, bottarga and pistachios, which was a home run. We also had a very nice half bottle of an Istrian Malavasia recommended by the owner. Everything was delicious.
The next day, we each started with the linguine with clams, broadbeans and tomato. A total surprise. Rather than a briny, classic spaghetti con vongole, it had a sweeter tomato driven sauce. Very good. My partner had a carpaccio of lightly smoked tuna with mozzarella buffalo and amazing french fried eggplant, while I had the monkfish on mash potato (one of the fish of the day). We had a half bottle of Sauvignon, again recommended by the owner and a nice match for our meal.
The space is pleasant and the co-owner is a delight to chat with periodically throughout the meal.

It's been a while since I've been back. A restaurant that serves fish-based dishes, but also has a menu for those who don't like it. What I ordered was good. Excellent service, polite and smiling staff. Large outdoor terrace, with a not huge room with tables for 2 and 4 people. I would like to recommend it.

Un menù per festeggiare i vent’anni di attività, con piatti iconici della tradizione triestina, che venerano il pesce come unica essenza. Dall’antipasto degli indecisi, dove il baccalà ha quel riposo indolente che è la morte sua, ai taglioni al nero, un budino per il palato, fino al fritto misto, chips da sgranocchiare. Materie prime di alto livello, innaffiate da una buona tradizione enologica locale. Da provare.

Arrivano amici a Trieste e per cena non abbiamo dubbi, li portiamo al Nerodiseppia !
Cordialità nell’accoglienza, un bel tavolo apparecchiato bene in un ambiente caldo (fuori c’era un freddo…)
Antipasti di pesce, piatti tipici e secondi raffinati, ottimi i dessert perché il boss è un fenomeno in pasticceria…
Abbiniamo un ottimo bianco e la cena diventa una delizia per il palato, bravissimi !
