Established fish restaurant with a colorful menu, frequently updated, never excessively gourmet and full of references to Istrian and north-Adriatic tradition. Good service, generally informal but well set up. Nice environment, even if there is a "range" of welcome and pleasantness of the atmosphere depending on the table - it takes a bit of luck. Account well calibrated to the offer. Excellent for those passing through and looking for a representative meal of local seafood cuisine

Good evening at 12.30 apart from the waitress (just kidding 😂), everyone was delicious. We only had two first courses which we were super satisfied with. Istrian Fusi alla busara and revisited tagliolini with cheese and pepper. The portions (in the photo) were kindly divided into 2 as we were halving the portions.

Locale tipico molto carino nel centro di Trieste a fianco del museo Revoltella.
Menù di pesce molto piacevole, piatti eccellenti curati anche nella presentazione, ottima la scelta dei vini.
Sicuramente da consigliare, meglio prenotare!

Locale diviso praticamente in due sale, location non bellissima ma funzionale. Il servizio è efficiente, cortese e rapido. La cucina è ottima, i piatti semplici cucinati in maniera perfetta: ottimi i tagliolini cacio (frant) e pepe e l'orata gradinata con fondo di caponata. Tante proposte di vini con ricarichi accettabili e prezzi assolutamente in linea con quanto offerto.
Se passate per Trieste fermatevi qui.

Go now! Full of Italians on a Thursday lunchtime, the most amazing tuna "ham" (prosciutto di tonne) with buffalo mozzarella and fried aubergines - see the photo, bit blurry, but it was DELICIOUS. The Tagliolini "cacio e Pepe" style and the spaghetti with bottarga, pistachios and stracciatella was also excellent.
