Real trattoria with typical products at a fair price, kind and friendly staff, I recommend the large mixed starter for 2. With my husband, the large mixed starter for 2, a very good mixed grill divided into 2 and a bottle of the house, total cost 56, 00 euros and we couldn't eat at all. Highly recommended

We went to this restaurant last night for dinner. Nice place, very friendly and smiling staff, excellent food. We had a starter, first course and dessert. Everything excellent. Abundant starter for 2 people: mixed fried food, various cured meats, cheeses with honey and jam and croutons. Excellent first courses: homemade pici seasoned with a superlative ragù and super porcini tagliatelle. The children's pasta menu formula which included pasta with tomato sauce, French fries and ice cream was much appreciated. Our children enjoyed it a lot and obviously dusted everything off. We absolutely recommend this restaurant and if we return to Montepulciano we will certainly visit again. Congratulations and thanks for the pleasant dinner.

Siamo stati in questa trattoria ieri sera per cena. Locale carino, personale molto gentile, cibo ottimo. Abbiamo preso antipasto, primo e dolce. Tutto ottimo. Antipasto per 2 persone abbondante: frittino misto, salumi vari e crostini. Primi ottimi: piaci fatti in casa conditi con un superlativo ragù e tagliatelle ai porcini super. Molto apprezzata la formula menu pasta bimbi che comprendeva pasta al pomodoro, patatine fritte e gelato. I nostri bimbi hanno apprezzato tanto e ovviamente spolverato tutto. Consigliamo assolutamente questa trattoria e se dovessimo tornare a Montepulciano sicuramente rifaremo visita. Complimenti e grazie per la piacevole cena.

Every time we visit Montepulciano, we can't help but come and eat at Trattoria Cagnano. Excellent food, wine and service and very honest prices. We strongly recommend it for the excellent quality/price ratio. We always feel pampered by the attention of the owners Francesca and Daniele and all the staff. You are wonderful.. Thank you so much ❤️

Während unseres Montepulciano-Aufenthaltes waren wir hier dreimal (wir wären öfters dort gewesen, aber es hatte ein paar Tage geschlossen). An unserem ersten Abend hatten wir nicht reserviert, haben aber einen Tisch bekommen und wurden sehr herzlich bedient! Das Essen war superlecker (egal was wir bestellt hatten) und wir haben uns hier vom ersten Moment an wohl gefühlt (es war unser Lieblingsrestaurant)!!! Bei unserem nächsten Montepulcianobesuch kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder - versprochen!!!

12/11/2024: Lover and expert of quality raw fish: in Poggibonsi for an eye operation, the owner of the B&B recommended this restaurant to me as a fish specialty, I called us back on the first evening to try it and we returned 4 more times for the two days we stayed for the operation. Elegant environment, very clean and well furnished, comfortable and above all kind, attentive waiters and cuisine with perfect timing... But above all the owner who LOVES TO MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD! I come from Pescara, a seaside city, but the raw fish I ate here, in terms of quality and freshness, is difficult to find real and very fresh flavours... We tried some amazing raw fish, such as large and tasty red prawns from Mazzara, amberjack and prawns... Peeled of mussels 2 portions for four times says lunches and two dinners, always very fresh DIVINE... as you can see from the photos.... EVERYTHING PERFECT.... QUALITY... LOVE... AND ELEGANT ENVIRONMENT... difficult to do better.... ESTIMATE AND ADMIRATION TO THE OWNER!
