My partner and I, following my brother's suggestion, discovered this small but welcoming restaurant in the centre, run by a nice, courteous and warm family. We ate really well and appreciated the land dishes and will gladly return to try the seafood ones. As experts in the gastronomic sector we can only highly recommend it.

Old family-run trattoria. Traditional dishes with good ingredients and excellent value for money. It has many regulars and that's a good sign! Cooking like it used to be.

We had the pleasure of trying Messina cuisine in a typical restaurant in the city. The menu had a short but selected selection of dishes with genuine flavours. I recommend the swordfish meatballs (off the menu) and the octopus as a starter to everyone. The price was fair.

Pranzo in famiglia in ambiente accogliente. Abbiamo preso una serie di antipasti davvero ottimi, in particolare cozze,Franceschini e caponata di pesce spada. Buoni anche i primi abbondanti e gli involtini di pesce spada. I sapori sono genuini e denotano buona scelta della materia prima. Sicuramente quando torneremo a Messina, faremo di nuovo tappa qui

Cucina tradizionale messinese, pesce sicuramente fresco. Buoni gli antipasti: Franceschini fritti, caponata di melanzana e spada, fiori di zucca fritti; un po’ anonimi gli spaghetti con le vongole e le linguine con gamberoni con granella di pistacchio sfumate al brandy; salata la frittura di calamari; braciole di spada nella media. Personale gentile. Prezzi eccessivi in rapporto alla qualità
