The cavatelli with seafood is excellent, and the mixed frying is plentiful and delicious.

Found by chance, the name Pierino the Englishman intrigued me, my wife and I entered, the entrance was small and comfortable and we were thinking everything about a 30-seater, then at the end of lunch, the owners (very kind and polite) told us were given a tour of the facility. We immersed ourselves in a labyrinth of rooms and halls for a total of around 350 seats, we were amazed at the care and service they provided. We will definitely go there later for an out-of-town trip. Forget the exquisite and exceptional typical Apulian food. WE RECOMMEND IT!!!!

Die Trattoria da Pierino L'inglese ist schon seit Jahren ein Restaurant für echte Apulische Küche und Fischgerichte, die Einrichtung ist einfach, das Essen Vorzüglich, die Eigner könnte man meinen wären Grantig, aber dem ist nicht so, die stehen einfach leicht unter Strom weil Sie halt möchten dass es voran geht und alle Kunden bedient werden. Idealerweise sollte man eine Anti pasta mista bestllen die nicht auf der Karte steht, für Fisch Liebhaber con Crudo, dann gibt es auch rohen Fisch dabei, andernfalls con Cotto. Danach eine Primo, Nudel oder Reisgericht mit Fisch , Secondo, Gegrillten Fisch oder Gamberoni, dann eine Obstplatte, Frutta, einen Caffe, einen Amaro oder Limoncello. Preislich liegt man dann für 2 Personnen mit 1 Flasche Wasser und 1 Bier bei +/- 55 €, und dann bitte Barzahlung, denn nur Bares ist Wahres. Uns hat es auf jedenfall gut geschmeckt und wir sind schon seit Jahren Stammkunde wenn wir in Monopoli Urlaub machen. Als weitere Info, den Inhabern der Trattoria gehört auch das B&B al Picchio in Monopoli auch eine gute Adresse.

I recently found myself having lunch at this old-fashioned trattoria in Monopoli. Lunch menu really rich in dishes with generous portions. Good service, as usual. Environment needs some tidying up. But let's get down to business here. Advised

Excellent experience as tourists, my friends and I stopped in this very welcoming restaurant, we trusted the staff and they recommended a very good fixed menu for only 40.00 euros per person, starter, 2 tastings of first courses, 2 second courses, fruit, sweets, lemon sorbet and coffee.

All very good, the only drawback is that despite having the POS for payment with debit or credit cards, inside near the cash register there is a sign that says the POS doesn't work but that's not true because it works, they prefer to let you pick up at atm which is outside where I unfortunately went (you can't withdraw more than €200) paying a commission of 2.5 since I had no other contacts then they made me pay with the ATM
But what's the point!
A piece of advice, your restaurant serves very good dishes, don't ruin everything by creating this kind of inconvenience
Offering payment through the electronic circuit is very important as well as mandatory, don't make up stories by preferring cash
PS many customers like me that day complained about this bogus disservice so you risk your good name
