Restaurant found by chance while wandering the streets of Palermo... friendly staff and delicious food!

I ate fish capaccio to start which was incredible, the muscles and spaghetti was lovely. I had the house speciality of fish and lemon sauce which was also excellent. The service was very good. We went early so it was quiet but food and service was excellent.

Food is really good (but nothing special) and the ambience is dark yet cozy. However, as a tourist I felt treated like a 2nd class guest and was neglected, had to follow up on orders multiple times, and while all other guests around me were offered more drinks or dessert, I just sat there and had to actively attract attention for every little thing. There was at least one staff member who spoke English - with another table -, but my waiters kept talking to me in Italian without any consideration. And I’m European too, it’s not as if I didn’t know anything about the customs. When paying, the lady literally did not say a single word to me and instead handled the entire process silently. On the bill, the wine was suddenly twice as expensive as what I thought I had read in the menu, but I can’t outrule memory error on my side. All in all, such a shame that you are charged the same price as everyone else, but receive only half the service.

The ambulance is very pleasant and you are met with a smiling face as soon as you enter the door. You should especially listen to the advice of the gentleman who greeted us. Seafood pasta and baby calamari were delicious If I ever come to Palermo, I will come again.

Best Sicilian food in Palermo at reasonable prices. Have tried pasta, sardine meatballs, grilled sword fish, mixed salad and chocolate cake. All were delicious. Must at least try once. We went 2 times😉 Service was fast and very good.

Location molto graziosa, personale gentile....e basta. Piatti sciapi, sicuramente precotti, vino adulterato, dolci stantii.  Roba da turisti sprovveduti. Conto esagerato per la qualità
