I went to this restaurant for the first time months ago to celebrate my specialization... I ate divinely... Mr. Antonio and all the staff are courteous and professional, you feel looked after, advised and pampered... My children often talk about it and always want to go and so do we, in fact we went back yesterday for my little one's birthday.... Excellent food and excellent.... The marinated appetizer was exquisite, the very fresh mussels and so much kindness.... In short... We can't wait to go back 🌹

Trattoria Carpaccio is a must-visit restaurant while you in Sicily. The service and the stuff are really amazing. We had the Pasta con boutargua & lemon sauce / Pomodoro con Mozzarella.

This time I have to give a four stars overall rating because. The waitress service was responsive and good, but too rush, owner not so welcoming and friendly. I ordered two foods, primi with pasta seafood and secondi with totano - For the taste, I have to give 3 stars rating - Fresh ingredients but nothing special about the taste, and the totano a bit hard (rubber texture) with bitter after-taste - And I am a 7 stars Google Reviewer, so believe me, I know what taste is all about. The things I really like is the place, super strategic location beside the main Piazza, easy to get, elegant, and typical Italian trattoria - Lovely ambience. Price is Ok conaidering a city centre restaurant. My photos shall explain my experiences.

I think every restaurant has something excellent; you just have to discover it, perhaps by going there several times. Unfortunately, we found something floating in their bottle of water (they told me it goes in the dishwasher), an insect? I don't know. When we pointed this out, was the water changed? But we were charged twice! Unfortunately, after paying, we noticed this mistake and were forced to report it; they refunded us 3 euros. For me, this is also the food, with all the consequences that can follow, and we can imagine! The service was the same: they tried to charge us twice for the water.
Everything was great. We've been in Italy for a week and we haven't eaten the same anywhere. Everything was perfect for me. The place is very comfortable, the staff is very nice. I highly recommend it. They have a lot of variety. We ordered the lasagna and the busiate with pistachio cream. It couldn't have been better!

Esta trattoria subterránea escondida fue un placer. Lleno de italianos y algunos extranjeros el menú era extenso y muy bueno. Las porciones eran grandes y el personal de camarero muy auténtico. Especialmente perfecto para un día fresco y lluvioso!

Ottima cena, posto consigliato per mangiare pesce, non ha deluso le nostre aspettative!
Trattamento davvero attento, elegante e personale preparato e gentile. Piatti ottimi con prodotti di qualità e buone porzioni. Tradizione ma anche prodotti più originali. Lo consiglio e ci tornerei.
