Definitely a place to try!
The owner has invested a lot in his business, which he runs with passion and love: it's not for everyone. Really excellent prices and quality. The highlight is the homemade bread, truly delicious. Draft beer and a complete menu, able to please everyone.
Personally I recommend the fish dishes rather than the pizza... even the mixed salads are excellent.
From the owner to the waiters, all extremely kind and friendly. I rarely give 5 stars, but this time they deserve it all.
My children were also very happy. After dinner or lunch, a nice walk near the cove concludes an unforgettable moment in Monopoli

The best restaurant in Monopoli, perfect and fabulous service, very, very delicious food (I can safely say this, since I ate almost the entire menu), an incomparable family atmosphere. I can only recommend it to everyone, it would be a sin to miss it.

The Gallo Nero restaurant is located in the stunningly beautiful old town of Monopoli. However, you have to look closely and walk through the garden of a finger food restaurant. It's definitely worth it: delicious dishes (fish, pasta, pizza, and desserts) and very friendly service. The garden is also very cozy and quiet.

We came to Monopoli for the day and found this restaurant, which we really liked!
We ordered a seafood salad as a starter, which was very good and abundant. We also had a charcuterie board and burrata, which was exquisite.
For the main course, we ordered cavatelli with seafood, which was excellent! And a seafood salad, all accompanied by amazing Aperol Sprits! The friendliness of the staff was wonderful, and it makes us want to come back!

Restaurant near the sea, with a fresh and welcoming garden, friendly and kind staff.
Excellent dishes from appetizer to dessert, fresh and local products.
We had a good time and returned several times. Highly recommended.

We had lunch here today, fabulous! We had peppered mussels and mixed fried seafood with their own take on fries which were delicious! Wine choices were very good and the service was attentive and friendly! A hidden gem, seek it out for great food! Thank you Gallo Nero!

I just say that out of 14 days of vacation we had dinner here 12 because the other 2 were rest. Quality of food, affordable prices, friendliness and kindness of the owners and staff, here we found all this.
