We travel frequently for business and/or pleasure. We rarely give a restaurant 5 stars because perfection is difficult to achieve. Taverna del Marinaio in Lanciano fully deserves 5 stars! Unsurpassed value for money. Excellently prepared food, everything is refined and fresh. The service, evening meal pairings, and wine selection are extraordinary. The location is breathtaking. This restaurant demonstrates the entire staff's passion for food and wine. The restaurant is spotless, as are the restrooms. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dining room staff is very knowledgeable about gastronomy and the entire world of wine. We will definitely be back!

This old-fashioned restaurant is definitely recommended. Excellent cuisine, with attention to both ingredients and detail. We ordered two first courses and a fried dish with broccoli rabe. To finish, we had crêpe suzette and tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Impeccable service. Truly friendly. We'll definitely be back.
