We stayed this summer. Pleasant place, elegant service. We didn't have any problems with cooking for celiacs. Excellent value for money.

Locale molto interessante. A parte l'ambiente particolare con le volte a mattoni, la proposizione dei piatti a metà tra tradizione e modernità è gradevole alla vista e al palato.
Pesce di ottima qualità e una scelta di vini - anche al bicchiere, cosa rara - molto ampia e di elevata qualità.

Eccellente cena. Ingredienti di prim’ordine, ricette innovative ma senza sconvolgere la tradizione. Il proprietario ci ha accompagnati, mio marito ed io, per tutta la cena, avvenuta di lunedì, con attenzioni e spiegazioni soprattutto sugli oli da produttore qual’e’. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.

We were passing through the center of Lanciano looking for a place to stop for lunch.
Luckily we found this place where the respect and appreciation of the product speak for themselves, the sensitivity of the sommelier is on par with the kitchen, since they work with a very high quality product and treat it as they deserve.
We drank a very good high-altitude Pecorino following the sommelier's advice. (the wine list, while very original, was somewhat confusing)
For lunch we tried the seafood and raw fish antipasto and a couple of pasta dishes, both delicious.
We go for €70 per head, a fair price to take into account the product and the service, but there are cheaper options (and more expensive if you are passionate about wine...)
I will return without hesitation if I have the opportunity.

Historic venue, high-level cellar, sublime cuisine. For the first time in Lanciano, the Taverna turned out to be a very pleasant surprise: in a place from the 1500s, the proposal is mainly seafood, but with land contaminations. The turnip gnocchi with calamari and clams are delicious, as is the seared tuna (served with delicious chips) or the fried fish with battered vegetables.
The wine list deserves to be read in its entirety, both for the original format and for the broad and selected proposal. For any questions or advice, the maître will be able to answer.
A marvel, nothing else can be said.

We had dinner this evening with the family but there isn't a single flaw in this place...excellent welcome, impeccable service and quality food...you perceive so much elegance but at the same time warm, welcoming and jovial friendly... I would recommend this place to anyone, especially to those who want to eat properly cooked fish... high class
