Everything was absolutely wonderful.....we had dinner twice....the service and food were truly stellar....I highly recommend it.

The restaurant is unique because it's underground, so it might feel a bit cramped for those unfamiliar with it. Despite this, the restaurant is well-maintained, and the service met expectations. For our first course, we had homemade passatelli with fish, which were simply delicious, and for our second course, shrimp skewers and a mix of grilled/au gratin vegetables. My only criticism concerns the desserts; we had the crème brulee and panna cotta, but they didn't quite meet my expectations; I hope they can improve the desserts in the future.

Highly recommended. Let's start with the location: the entrance is a bit hidden, but once inside, you find yourself in a unique setting converted from an old mill. The wait staff is young, friendly, and welcoming, as are the kitchen staff. The pasta is homemade, as are the desserts. The portions are more than generous, the quality excellent (we only had the fish dishes). The prices are more than fair, at least based on my experience living in the province of Como. Highly recommended for those who appreciate good, quality cuisine.

After a wonderful day in Urbino, we decided to head to Fano for a stroll along the seafront. When dinnertime arrived, none of the seaside restaurants appealed to us, so my wife and I asked Gemini for advice, and he suggested La Taverna del Ghiottone. What can I say... a delightful surprise, far beyond our expectations! The restaurant, located in the basement of an old mill, is truly charming and creates a unique atmosphere. The service was impeccable: the owner's son guided us through the selection of dishes and wines with great professionalism, passion, and expertise, also sharing the history of the restaurant with us. The dishes were excellent: ultra-fresh fish, high-quality ingredients, meticulous preparation, and truly elegant presentation. An experience that won us over in every way. If you're in Fano and love good seafood, I highly recommend it!

Worth a visit! The swordfish and fish main courses in general are highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and professional.
