Truffle pasta was the best pasta I’ve ever had. The food and the staff were absolutely amazing. Couldn’t recommend more!

Excellent food & service! We came without reservation and received a table with a great view of Portofino. The lobster & the pasta prepared in the cheese wheel were incredible! Best Restaurant in Portofino in my opinion. Thank you!

Strainer is a hidden gem and the food was incredible!! The best meal I’ve had so far on this trip. The branzino and truffle pasta were divine! Julianna was the most kind server and all the staff were amazing. The chef came to say hello after and we were so grateful. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Portofino!

Friendly setting and atmosphere The service is decent The truffle pasta is €56 for a very limited quantity... we enjoyed it, but nothing special. The carbonara pasta is decent at €16 The langoustine pasta is also decent at €23

Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante, non solo per il piatto eccezionale — i tagliolini ai funghi porcini con tartufo, mantecati direttamente nella forma di parmigiano — un vero capolavoro di gusto! Ma anche per la cortesia e l’accoglienza di Carmine, il titolare, che con il suo sorriso e la sua passione rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Super!

01/09/2025: Large restaurant with an open kitchen. Plenty of parking nearby. Noisy atmosphere, but excellent dishes with generous portions. The ones I've pictured are delicious. The price is fair.
27/08/2025: A strategic restaurant just a few kilometers from the Busalla toll booth, this area has been a regular destination for many years, offering both Ligurian and non-Ligurian cuisine. The pizzas are also very good, but obviously very subjective. Surrounded by greenery, with ample parking and an outdoor area, it offers a variety of options. The interior is clean and simple. Last but not least, the staff are excellent, welcoming customers with a smile and always striving to provide excellent service, sometimes in emergency situations. My favorite first course is pansoti with walnut sauce, a Ligurian dish for those unfamiliar with it, made with artisanal ingredients. Thank you, because it feels like home.

02/09/2025: Generous portions, good quality, good service; the girl who served us was knowledgeable, kind, and professional. The interior is retro, well-maintained, and very beautiful! I've been there several times, I recommend it, and I'll definitely be back.
