Overlooking the lake, we ate a truly delicious meal. We were shocked by the more than fair and modest price. Perhaps a few more details in the decor would make it an excellent place.

I've been there several times for dinner or lunch, always eaten well, I must say that due to a logistical mix-up the owner still behaved correctly by not charging for lunch... I didn't expect it but I admire his gesture... I recommend it

Had lunch here today, brought by a friend who'd already been there with great reviews. I can confirm that the place is very nice and in a beautiful location overlooking the lake. Excellent service and excellent food. Recommended.

Meh, disappointed. The location is nice, but the restaurant needs a facelift. The service is incredibly fast; there's hardly any time to relax. Apart from that, the food isn't bad.

11/07/2026: I had a sandwich for lunch...gigantic and super filling, maybe too big but delicious. Friendly staff, cozy place. The menu has a variety of delicious options...I'll be back!

01/06/2026: Congratulations to Chef Mario, who delighted us with exceptional dishes... from the presentation to the explosions of flavor! Truly excellent in everything! ...from the welcome and throughout the service... Additional praise to the beef carpaccio, the goat's milk dandelion and mountain pine ravioli, and the delicious apple tarta tatin. We were truly recommended to dine at this gem of an inn.
30/05/2026: Truly a spectacular place to eat excellent quality, the Dehors with outdoor tables is very nice, excellent service, very kind staff and last but not least, taking a nice motorbike ride from Ballabio to get to Esino you can enjoy the curves in one of the most beautiful stretches of road I have ever driven.
