I have been a restaurateur for years and I see everyone with different eyes. I can only give compliments and appreciate places like Leeward. Perfect cuisine, view and service. Ci siamo stati a pranzo in settimana, con poca gente presente. Il locale è ampio, moderno ed il punto forte è sicuramente la terrazza, da cui si gode di uno splendido panorama sul lago e su Bellagio. Indubbiamente suggestivo all'ora del tramonto. L'atmosfera è risultata tranquilla e piacevole. Il menù offre proposte della cucina locale, con prodotti del territorio ed i piatti sono preparati in modo essenziale, ma con cura ed attenzione; il risultato è molto buono, sia per il palato che per lo stomaco. Le quantità sono adeguate. Anche la carta dei vini è di qualità, con buona scelta. Il servizio è efficiente e cortese. I prezzi sono coerenti con il contesto. Sicuramente un locale consigliato!

The food is excellent and the place is truly splendid.

Fantastic location, the tables are located on a balcony directly positioned on the lake... you can enjoy a wonderful and romantic view. Excellent starters. the perch risotto is not what you expect... the greatest classic of our lake has been revisited and the fish fillets are not browned in butter or breaded... furthermore it is so salty as to be inedible. Disaster. The dessert also leaves something to be desired. The service not very attentive. Down compared to the past. Sorry.

All sensationally exceptional; dishes with excellent lake specialties, very fair portions and a wonderful lake view. In front of the restaurant there is the pier for the ferry, which goes as far as Bellagio. Honorable mention for Ignazio and Sergio, exquisite people with rare kindness.

Un ristorante dalla posizione invidiabile, con una vista lago da applausi. Ma questo non basterebbe per meritare una lode se non si accompagnasse con una cucina pregevole, originale e curata. La scelta permette di gustare specialità di lago non così comuni, ma anche di optare per piatti più tradizionali, come per esempio le trenette con gamberi o il risotto burrata e acciughe. La nostra scelta è caduta su una degustazione di lago, composta da porchetta di lago (un arrotolato di pesce), crostini con patè di lago e un'eccellente carpionata di pesce di lago, e sui missultin, piatto tradizionale a base di agoni di lago essiccati sotto sale e grigliati. A seguire, due porzioni di sedanini al pomodo con ragù di pesce di lago e bottarga (quest'ultima, in verità, poco presente). Con un sorbetto agli agrumi per finire e due bicchieri di prosecco, conto di poco superiore ai 35 euro a persona, per una cena di ottima qualità, con servizio curato e tempi delal cucina corretti. Chi si lamenta dei prezzi di questo locale non ha la minima idea di quelli medi dei ristoranti, soprattutto a MIlano...
