SATORI In Firenze

I went there to eat with my family on a Saturday, and I confirm the good impression it made on me years ago! The fish is very good and the rice is divinely seasoned. I'm leaving this review because I have celiac disease and I know that there are many, like me, who are looking for places to eat gluten-free sushi. Here in Satori you still order old fashioned, that is, the waitress passes by and dictates the dishes you want to order. You just have to be careful to specify that you are celiac and that you cannot eat gluten, and therefore pay attention to contamination (even if they showed me they already knew). In the menu just avoid all the dishes that have the ear of corn. You will understand that there are not many, but if you are celiac you already know that our choice is limited by nature. Everything perfect - the sushi actually tastes and doesn't taste "all the same thing"

Very romantic place, really good food. Very carefully presented! My only problem was reading the menu without images and searching for a photo of any dish on Google to understand what I was ordering! But I'm sure this was just my problem because I still can't associate the names of the dishes with how they are visually! Otherwise highly recommended for romantic dinners for two. Ultra-courteous waiters, spot-on background music, flaying soft lights. What can I say, you eat and you feel good! Bring us your partner!

Locale arredato con gusto in un ambiente con mattoni e pietra a vista. È organizzato come all-you-can-it anche se si può mangiare alla carta, ma non conviene (tanto per cominciare aggiungono 3 euro di coperto a testa). Il menù è ampio e comprende piatti asiatici inclusi quelli giapponesi come sushi e sashimi. Il servizio è un po' lento per prendere gli ordini, anche perché questo ristorante è molto frequentato da gruppi, ma poi i piatti arrivano rapidamente e sono ben fatti.

I came back after years because years ago I was very satisfied. It seems to have gotten worse, also in terms of food quality, some things were good, others I couldn't eat, furthermore we had to request plates or even just napkins, glasses, many times because the waiters probably forgot. We waited in line to enter even though we had booked the table because they had certainly given it to other people. I don't know if I will return.

Da poco siamo approdati anche a Firenze e come primo AYCE abbiamo optato per il Satori, un locale molto ben curato ed accogliente, situato in zona Le Cure. La location del Satori è peculiare nel suo genere perché il ristorante sorge su un vecchio podere della zona risalente alla fine del ‘700. La particolarità di questo posto, infatti, è la fusione della tradizione fiorentina con la cultura orientale. Il servizio è complessivamente cortese, ci sono alcune ragazze molto ben disponibili alle varie esigenze del cliente e ben sorridenti, altri camerieri meno garbati, diciamo che nel complesso è accettabile. Per quanto riguarda la velocità nell’arrivo dei vari piatti sono piuttosto svelti nel portare le varie pietanze, meno cura nel ritirare i piatti sporchi. Un punto in meno purtroppo per la cura dell’impiattamento, d’altronde l’occhio vuole pure la sua parte! Un aspetto notevole di questo ristorante è la presenza della Griglia sia a pranzo che a cena; ma il vero punto forte di Satori sono i loro gunkan! Spaziali.
