This is my favorite restaurant in Monopoli, every dish we have had here has been just fantastic. We had their variety appetizer which is 5 different small appetizers, and we were just blown away. I can't eat salmon in America. Its just too fishy. But their Salmon tartar was amazing, light and delicious. I don't like pretentious food, and this was just the opposite of that. Beautifully and brilliantly prepared and absolutely delicious. Get a Reservation! We were lucky that we got a table our first time because we showed up right as they opened and got their only available table. We reserved every other time and had no problems getting one.

Strange experience. Booked a lunch table on the advice of friends who had their fixed price lunch when they visited. After sitting down and asking for the fixed price menu were told they don't do one. Although it is on their website dated today! So we departed.

The restaurant is right in the center, a nice little place, on 2 levels. The owner, and manager, is really very kind and discreet!
We ate a mixed appetizer and a fish first course, a dessert, accompanied with a good red wine, from the area.
The appetizer, with various tastings (particular and delicate "morsels", fish-based) was very much appreciated, as was the dessert (homemade): rating 8.5
For the two different first courses, my rating is a 7.5
Good quality/price ratio!

It's a place without too many pretensions and average, small and welcoming. I went there today for lunch with my girlfriend and we ordered, I a plate of chicche with pesto and shrimp and she a sliced beef with rocket and parmesan medium cooked all exceptional and good except for an appetizer of bruschetta and tiny bread meatballs that arrived without being ordered, we thought it would be offered but it wasn't.

Great food and service on a small restaurant the requires reservations.
Found this typical place thanks to Google. We had to wait a bit even though it was the beginning of the week and already 2pm. It was worth it, satisfied with the welcome and the special food we tasted. I told the owner that we had our dog Sciany (medium size) with us. He made us sit on the outside veranda. While waiting to order they brought us two bruschetta with cherry tomatoes and small meatballs. We tasted the cavatelli (a type of pasta) with seafood and broad bean puree, excellent. And for the second course we chose the house appetizer, also special based on fish (salmon, shrimp, cod, etc.) served with special condiments (broad bean puree, pepper puree, artichokes, etc.)

It’s a busy place down a side street. I had seen the good reviews on Google so decided to give it a try. Good fish main course and lovely pre starter snack. Crowning glory was the Strawberry and almond desert. Great food and service

Seconda volta in questa trattoria e sempre felici di tornarci. Il proprietario, persona molto gentile e riservata , il cameriere bravissimo e spiritoso. Antipasti della casa molto ben fatti e non i soliti . Primi eccellenti , tonno in crosta molto ben presentato. Per finire un croccante da leccarsi i baffi. Prenotazione obbligatoria data la dimensione del locale . Tutto il menù è proponibile in versione gluten free . Consigliatissimo .
