Sal8 delivered one of the best meals of our entire trip. The cacao tagliatelle was, without exaggeration, the most delicious pasta I’ve ever eaten—perfectly balanced, earthy yet subtly sweet, and completely unforgettable. Truly next-level. We also had the sea bass with mashed potatoes, and both were bursting with flavor—fresh, delicate fish paired with incredibly rich and comforting potatoes done just right. The meal started with excellent Sicilian bread and olive oil, followed by thoughtfully paired wines that complemented each dish beautifully. We finished with a delectable tiramisu, the perfect ending to an already flawless meal. Beyond the food, the service was warm, friendly, and welcoming, making the entire experience feel special from start to finish. Sal8 is an absolute must-do in Agrigento—creative, soulful cooking done exceptionally well. 🍷🍝✨

We spent one night in Agrigento and was lucky enough to choose SAL8 for our evening meal. Excellent service and excellent food. It makes a big difference when a restaurant makes you feel welcome and looks after you all the way through the meal. 👍🏼 Interesting point about the name SAL8 is that is easy to remember 🤔

The best caponata I've eaten in Sicily

Sal8 was the best restaurant on my tour of southern Italy and Sicily. A chic yet casual restaurant, decorated with great taste. Attentive and attentive waiters, one of them speaking English and French. Absolutely delicious food with Michelin-level presentation. Among other things, we ate the trio of tuna, shrimp linguine and pistachio sauce, as well as the mille-feuille, all absolutely impeccable in flavor and presentation. I liked it so much that I went back the next day. If I lived in Agrigento, I would go every week.
