Had the pleasure of dining at Sal8 while in Agrigento, and it genuinely impressed us. The atmosphere blended casual and upscale in the best way, and the service was excellent — warm and attentive — with a small but well-curated menu. We ordered the house-made ricotta ravioli with a buttery, creamy pistachio and almond Parmesan pesto, and it was outstanding — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. We also enjoyed the pasta with clams, the true treasure of the sea — unforgettable in every way. Overall, a memorable dining experience and absolutely worth a return visit. Saluti

We are a Japanese couple in our 60s who made a reservation after seeing this restaurant featured on YouTube. We had the raw fish platter, red shrimp linguine, and sea urchin pasta. As rumored, the red shrimp linguine was excellent. We traveled in Italy for nearly a month, and this was the best we had ever eaten. I now understand the significance of using pistachios. Everything on the raw fish platter was delicious. The tuna was lean, but tasty, and it was my first time trying matsugai sashimi, which had a nice texture and was sweet. And the red shrimp was the winner here too! I'll never forget its rich flavor. Thank you very much.

We didn't have reserves but they weren't busy yet so they sat us. Good service except we felt rushed the whole time. The wine choice was very nice and my meal was excellent. However my wife's fish meal was to have hazelnut and my wife thought they must be in the sauce until the table next to us ordered the same meal and noticed the hazelnuts sprinkled on the dish.
