Sa Morisca In Villasimius

Dear gourmet friends. Food is very good, but not excellent. There is a competitor restaurant in the area where we tested up to the top (Sa Ta...). The service is very friendly, but there were points deducted because we completely forgot about our menu (digital food recording) twice out of 3 times where we went on vacation within 9 days. The pizzas here are highly recommended!!! The ambience is also pleasant in the lower area. The receptionist, who will also accept reservations in the future, is extremely friendly and very attentive - TOP!!!

Good evening! We were there this evening, a very nice place but even though they let us sit outside, it was hot! Let's say the service was normal, apart from the fact that we had to repeat the order for the drinks as they didn't arrive! Just as we read in the reviews, we witnessed an order error... they brought a pizza with cheese to an intolerant customer who had requested buffalo mozzarella...! There should have been pecorino on our pizzas too, but there wasn't even a hint! Poorly digestible dough. High price for the quality of the food! The place would be nice, but the quality isn't as nice.

We usually love this restaurant and visit it every year when we're in Villasimius. The food here is always delicious, and they even offer gluten-free pizza, which we really appreciate. Up until this recent visit, we had always been very satisfied. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was very disappointing. While we’ve always enjoyed the food here, the service on this particular day was completely unacceptable. We are very understanding people and fully aware of how stressful the hospitality industry can be, especially with the high volume of tourists. However, that's no excuse for deliberately ignoring guests and making them feel unwelcome. On this occasion, we were treated very poorly by the waitstaff in the upper terrace area. When I tried to order a drink, my attempts to get the staff's attention were ignored for quite some time. Eventually, an older woman came to take my order and that of a friend. When I encouraged my friend to start, he hesitated for a moment. She seemed to interpret this as if we were still undecided and immediately turned away to start talking to her colleague, even though we were ready to order. As she walked away, I called out to let her know we were ready, but she briefly turned back, made a dismissive hand gesture, and told me to "tranquilo," implying I should calm down and wait. I want to emphasize that I am the last person to be pushy or rude, as I work in customer service myself and understand how challenging it can be. However, the way we were treated made us all feel extremely uncomfortable that evening. Not once did we see a smile from any of the staff—not towards us or anyone else. To add to the experience, when my friend went inside later to pay, the staff member did apologize to her, explaining that they were very busy and stressed. While I appreciate the acknowledgment, I really would have preferred if the apology had been directed at me as well. Telling a guest to "tranquilo" is completely out of line, and I could never imagine saying something like that to one of my own customers.

We only took the pizzas and they were truly excellent: very tasty and light dough, excellent quality ingredients and above all digestible pizza that doesn't make you thirsty hours later. Let's move on to the sore points that do not allow me to give 5 stars. High prices, ok the tourist location but 16 euros for a special pizza and 9 euros for a simple margherita seemed too much to me, not to mention the unfiltered Icnusa in the bottle (the one you find in the supermarket) sold for 5 euros with an absurd markup . Service to improve, when you ask 16 euros for a pizza, you can't forget an ingredient. Cleanliness: the table was very sticky, more attention should be paid. All this is saved by a truly excellent pizza, at a decidedly higher level than the other pizzerias we tried in the surrounding area. Bill: 4 pizzas, 3 beers, 1 coke = 78 euros.

A great time in a magnificent setting. Homemade pizza, the carbonara is excellent. I highly recommend. You must reserve if you do not want to wait.

Very nice place and excellent pizza, even my wife who has celiac disease here finds a lot of choice and very good pizza.

Siamo arrivati senza aver prenotato di sabato sera e ci hanno fatto aspettare poco meno di 15 minuti. Pizze molto buone, anche se una volta seduti al tavolo abbiamo dovuto aspettare una trentina di minuti dopo aver ricevuto l'antipasto. Posizione molto comoda, essendo alle porte del centro di Villa. Personale consono e gentile.
