Ristorante Zu In Riva di solto

Sunday lunch. I have to say that, overall, the experience was very positive. The location is designed with attention to detail, with a very specific stylistic choice... natural wooden tables, without tablecloth, which create a sober, warm atmosphere consistent with the context in which the restaurant is located. A detail that, in my opinion, contributes to defining the identity of the place. We opted for the four-course tasting menu. Although well executed, the proposals lacked a bit of variety: I found similar ingredients in all the courses, and I would have preferred a little more contrast or surprise between the dishes. That said, the cooking was well managed and the flavors harmonized with balance. The wine pairing was interesting and well thought out, coherently accompanying each course. The selection of cheeses is also very good. The dessert, however, was a little subdued: based on mango, which however did not shine in quality, but I recognize that in these cases a lot depends on the raw material available. The reason why I still give 5 stars is the overall experience, enhanced by impeccable service. The staff, young and attentive, took care of me with great professionalism (perhaps sensing that I am quite demanding). Despite some small criticisms, it is a restaurant that I recommend without hesitation. I will gladly return in the future to discover any changes to the menu.

Third time at Zu. Second experience with the new management and second very pleasant surprise. Young but very knowledgeable environment. High level chef for ideas and care in the preparation of the dishes. Definitely worth trying again. Compliments.

Fabulous! We went on Saturday before Easter and we absolutely loved it. The 7 course tasting menu is a journey through local tradition and innovation. The wine list is superb, and the service is more than 5 stars. What about the settings? Stunning!!!! It deserves a Michelin Star

Special atmosphere, attentive service. Unfortunately the dishes did not meet expectations, in particular we chose the 4-course tasting menu. Unfortunately the lovage risotto didn't taste like lovage at all and the lemon was too persistent. It was a lemon risotto and not lovage. Portions too too small. With €170 for dinner you leave hungry. Wide choice of wines. I wouldn't go back.

wonderful place with a fantastic view, each table is prepared ad-hoc and if we add the fact that the chef and the pastry chef know how to tempt you, the rating can only be 10/10. Excellent lunch with a warm welcome, as well as the place, waiters who are more than competent and very good at guiding you through the tasting menu, they have a special foresight in transforming a simple lunch into an experience to remember.

I piatti, la vista, la cura nel servizio di uno stellato, ma ai prezzi di un ristorante normale. L’Attenzione al territorio è evidente negli ingredienti e nei vini, ma la raffinatezza e la creatività degli abbinamenti sono difficili da eguagliare. Spettacolari il risotto e la tartelletta con brodo di seda rapa, ma anche il cinghiale della val Seriana con trombette della morte si fa amare! Da provare il menu degustazione da 7 portate
