Ristorante Posillipo In Gabicce mare

Just for one day, lovely hotel with a breathtaking view, classic breakfast, good. I recommend it.

What can I say? It's always wonderful to return to this magnificent hotel overlooking the Bay of Angels. Superb rooms. Outdoor pool. Spa. Convenient parking. Very friendly staff. Superb breakfast served on the panoramic terrace. The price is truly worth it. It's located in this charming village of Gabicce Monte. We hope to return soon. It's a shame it's closed for the winter.

We dined as a couple on the terrace, enjoying the magnificent view, which, after all, is the highlight of the place. The dishes were decent, well-executed, but the flavors were a bit predictable. There was no musical accompaniment. The service was good, although the trolleys sometimes struggled to fit through the crowded tables. Special mention goes to the desserts (the Moretta was excellent) and their giant trolley. It's odd that you have to pay a certain price to get a front-row table. The bill, however, is affected by the location of the place, meaning you pay for the view even if you're not in the front row. If the place were in a different location, the value for money would be decidedly steep. I expected more.

An elegant restaurant with a slightly retro feel. Very low lighting, aided by small battery-powered table lamps. The raw seafood is delicious, fresh and of high quality. Fish is the star of the first and second courses. Everything is excellent, well presented, and in just the right quantities. Good wine selection. The bill is high but reasonable.

The perfect experience for a special occasion like ours. We visited this restaurant for a midweek lunch. It couldn't have been a better choice. A stunning location with a heavenly view. Friendly staff; our waiter made all the difference with his friendliness, professionalism, knowledge, and even his proactive approach. Excellent ingredients, perfectly prepared and presented (kudos to the chef). The excellent wine list, excellent dessert selection, and coffee menu made for an experience beyond all expectations. The price? Well, considering everything, I'd say it was within the norm; asking for less wouldn't be fair. At the end of the meal, thanks to our waiter's recommendation, we were also able to purchase some of their own sweet and savory packaged products.

Sono stata a cena in questo meraviglioso locale dove fanno una cucina di pesce, abbimao iniziato con un antipasto crudo di mare..ci hanno servito ostriche, gameri,scampi, vongole e tanto altro tutto FRESCHISSIMO, sapori delicatissimi, abbiamo proseguito con una frittura e una grigliata di pesce fatte a regola d’arte, a fine cena il cameriere è arrivato con il carrello di dolci e ci ha fatto scegliere il dolce che più desideravamo, buonissimo anche questo. Le porzioni non sono grandissime ovviamente ma è un’esperienza da provare assolutamente!

Non è la prima volta per me e mia famiglia, ma comunque ci torno sempre volentieri per la location fantastica e il buon cibo. ho anche pernottato sul posto. Un punto di riferimento peril buon cibo.!
