SUPER RECOMMENDED! Perfect experience, ingredients and very fresh tomatoes. We had dinner twice in this restaurant, good fish dinner and excellent pizzeria!

The restaurant is well located, the service a little cold but polite. The dishes were good, a little expensive though. A 10% discount is applied if you are a customer of the b and b Ingrid

Food was ok. We didn't try the pizza but it seems at a very good price for 7.50€-10€. We tried the pasta dishes which were pleasant enough, not extraordinary. But the one really disappointing thing was the house wine. One of the worst we had in Italy (I'm sorry). Please change it.

Restaurant in the central area of ​​Tropea, positive experience with quality food.... excellent red tuna tataky and fried spatula. Excellent price/quality ratio. I recommend it!

Cercavamo nel nostro periodo di vacanza a Tropea un ristorante che facesse una buona pizza, e chiedendo consiglio alla signora che ci ha fittato la casa ci consigliò ristorante porta nova. A dir la verità eravamo un po' scettici, ma sono stati sconvolti i nostri pronostici, una pizza davvero buonissima, buon impasto, cottura eccellente e sapore top, per non parlare poi del servizio che è stato eccellente, con camerieri gentili e cordiali. Se dovessi ritornare a Tropea ci ritornerei sicuramente, il 🔝

Al nostro secondo giorno di vacanza abbiamo deciso di cenare al ristorante-pizzeria Porta Nova di Tropea. Abbiamo mangiato come antipasto il polpo ed era buono. Come primo abbiamo preso uno scialatiello allo scoglio, nel quale lo scoglio era probabilmente rimasto al mare. Letteralmente 4 cozze, 1 scampo piccolo e forse 2 gamberetti; il sugo era inesistente e lo scialatiello completamente asciutto (menomale che c’era il vino). I panciotti discretamente buoni.

07/10/2024: 4 stars for the service and the friendliness of the waitresses but the real stars would be 2!!
30/09/2024: A cozy and charming setting, impeccable service with a touch of humor. The dishes are delicious and the pizzas traditional. We came across the dish of the day, ''fish involtini'' and its sauce with raisins, cherry tomatoes and pine nuts... To die for, it was so delicious. Despite everything, the only downside was that it was rather calm at the beginning of October (end of high season). I highly recommend this restaurant to lovers of refinement.

02/11/2024: My stay was short, but long enough to have widely appreciated the uncommon welcome of all the hotel staff, as well as their proven professionalism. Clean and well-kept environments. To be recommended without any hesitation. A sincere thank you to the magnificent staff from a Roman already nostalgic for the beautiful Vibo and the generous Calabrian people! 🤗
26/10/2024: Great check-in experience. Poor assorted breakfast. Rooms to be revisited with 70s/80s furnishings. Excellent cleanliness and top location
