Good food, but terrible service

Wonderful restaurant, where you can eat healthy and delicious fish, meat, and Roman pasta recipes. The entire team is excellent and exceptional, and the owner, Carmine, stands out above all others: he is one of a kind! Highly recommended.

Bit of a roller coaster experience. Started out seeing reviews that praised the service/atmosphere, as well as the carbonara. We sit down and see the menu clearly states they do not charge a service fee. Good start. Turns out they charge for the bread they brought out though. My carbonara was not good. Eggs were overcooked and scrambled in the sauce. Something I could've made at home lol. The rest of the pasta dishes were nice though. We also ordered a bufala mozzarella - I even pointed at this on the menu while saying "bufala." We didn't get any bufala though and instead they brought out a pork chop. Funny enough the pork chop was delicious and ended up being my favorite thing of the meal. So my main gripe was the terrible carbonara, and charging for bread when we never asked to have it. Everything else was redeemable to a degree.

I visited here while sightseeing in Rome. I ordered carbonara, amatriciana, and seafood fritters, and everything was absolutely delicious. The thick pasta was perfectly cooked and had a rich flavor that was amazing. The carbonara had a traditional taste with a strong egg and cheese flavor, and the amatriciana was much more delicious than the one I had in Japan. The prices were reasonable overall, and I think it's a really delicious restaurant that's loved by local regulars. The staff were also kind, and we enjoyed a great meal.

The best carbonara and Aperol spritz in Rome! We've been there twice, and every dish was delicious, so I couldn't decide which one was the best. Whatever you order, you won't be disappointed. This small traditional restaurant is staffed by outstanding chefs and professional waiters.

E’ un ottimo ristorante vecchio stile romano. Uno di quei locali nei quali ritrovi la sostanza in tutto. Cibo, materie prime, servizio. Lontani anni luce dai fronzoli alla Masterchef…. Qui si mangiano i piatti della tradizione romana, schietti e sinceri come la roma di qualche anno fa. Consigliato sia per la carne che per il pesce.

Restaurante italiano muy tradicional de estilo antiguo que tenía una importante clientela italiana mayor local disfrutando de comida y vino tradicionales. Muy buen servicio acompañado de sabrosa comida simple y vino.
