Ristorante L'Ancora In Monopoli

We ate at the restaurant two evenings. The fish was very good, and the older waiter was very friendly and competent. The second evening was less good; we had to wait over an hour for a fish soup and a pizza. The waiter was partially apologetic. However, the behavior of this older lady – apparently the manager – who showed no sign of regret when asked was extremely unpleasant and completely unprofessional. The same was true of the behavior of the lady at the cashier, apparently the daughter of the house, who responded to my comment in an arrogant and not at all service-oriented manner. The only logical consequence: we ate at a different restaurant for the next three days. As a guest, you don't have to put up with such arrogance from the owners!!!

The quality of the food is truly impressive, the fish is incredibly fresh, but what really makes the difference is the service. Mimmo is a true professional, thanks for the advice, and thanks to him, we'll be back.

I ordered a marinara, and it tasted like seafood despite having no seafood ingredients. I've had marinaras before, but this was the first time I'd received such feedback. If the other pizzas aren't any better, you can be sure!

Una vera perla sul mare! Questo ristorante di pesce è un angolo di semplicità e autenticità, con una veranda affacciata direttamente sull’acqua che regala una vista splendida: cielo limpido e mare che si confondono all’orizzonte. I piatti sono genuini, con porzioni abbondanti e pesce freschissimo, cucinato con sapienza ma senza inutili fronzoli. Ogni portata, sempre abbondante, è un’esplosione di sapore. Il personale è cordiale, disponibile e sempre attento alle esigenze del cliente, con un sorriso sincero e una cura che fanno davvero la differenza. Il tutto a prezzi più che onesti. Un’esperienza che sa di mare, di casa e di qualità. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

À essayer gagne être connu. L’endroit est simple ne se démarque pas de la rue mais lorsqu’on y est et notamment sur les terrasses on n’y est bien et la table est excellente très bonne cuisine, italienne, risotto aux fruits de mer, et frutti misto le meilleur qu’on ait mangé depuis que nous sommes ici et ça fait une semaine je vous le conseille
