The place is very well looked after but little attention is paid to the customer especially when he says he has allergies. After we ordered and explained the "shellfish allergy" problem, we were assured that everything would be prepared without even contamination, when it was time to eat we found a shrimp in the frying, so I think that people's lives should not be messed with and that these things should not be taken lightly.

Lo chef in cucina deve essere proprio in gamba. Non solo la tartare di pesce era preparata in modo perfetto ma gli involtini di Branzino, ripieni e su letto di crema di patate, erano geniali. Ho chiesto alla ragazza in sala notizie sul loro ripieno. Mi ha detto che era pesce spada. Onestamente sono rimasto dubbioso, sembravano ripieni della stessa crema aromatizzata ma comunque erano ottimi. Gli antipasti di pesce fresco, con fritto di scoppolaricchi, erano sontuosi ed abbondanti. E ottimo il rosato di Regsleali, a prezzo corretto. A proposito, i prezzi in genere sono contenuti, il che non guasta. Qualche nota non entusiasmante sono i due ragazzi in sala, volenterosi ma non troppo professionali. Anche altre recensioni sottolineano, forse con troppa severità, questo aspetto. Ma il servizio ingenuo rende eccessivo il costo di tre euro a coperto. Ho suggerito al titolare di presentare l'ottimo dessert di pera caramellata appena tiepido e non freddo. Solo un suggerimento, perchè comunque era buono. Prenotare perché sala piccola e in genere affollata. E questo conferma che la buona cucina rende perdonabile il servizio.

Restaurant near the Avola seafront. We had dinner with friends. Very nice environment. Very fresh fish cooked with skill. The spaghetti with sea urchins is excellent. Attentive service. The dessert does not disappoint
