I think this is now my favourite restaurant in malcesine. We’ve been coming here for 15 years and i didn’t know it existed somehow!
Great location, great prosecco, food portions are big. Loved the free pour limoncello and grappa! The weather was stupidly hot but the service was brilliant, no idea how they managed to stay sane. This was the best restaurant of our holiday, if I was here longer I’d come every day.
Best dishes were the swordfish and the fritto misto: very big portions!
Very happy we came here. Much better service and food than other malcesine restaurants this week! I probably had 4 shots of free grappa, well done La Pace 👍

Been visiting this restaurant every time I'm in Malcesine for the past 5 years and it has not changed one bit. Still great seafood and very consistent cuisine.

A pleasant restaurant in a quiet part of the resort town. We only went for an aperol, but our fellow travelers also had lunch, everyone raved about the food. The sound of the waves of Lake Garda crashing onto the shore a few meters away was a really pleasant background "noise". We really enjoyed our time here.

Located directly on Lake Garda, it offers a stunning setting. Perfect service, typical Italian food, and drinks. It's a bit hectic, but that's part of it. To finish off, the owner serves grappa from a 4.5-liter bottle or limoncello.

We decided to visit the restaurant with a high expectation and it was even higher when we saw the prices. But it was our vacation, so why not. We ordered a fish plate and beef steak with grilled vegetable. The steak was really delicious, we could not say the same about the fishes as some pieces were really great, but some cold and dry and probably the worst was the vegetable, which did not look and unfortunately did not taste as fresh. We informed the manager and she was very professional, apologised for that and offered as a coffee free of charge. In this kind of restaurant it should be a matter of course, but it is not a standard everywhere. So generally we would prefer good meal instead of apologies, but we appreciate that.

Die Kellner zu hektisch und das Essen nur durchschnittlich, das ist unsere Bilanz vom Besuch.
Meine Lasagne war gut, aber die Spaghetti aglio e olio meiner Frau hatten wenig Geschmack und waren eher trocken. Das Bruschetta war ebenfalls sehr trocken und die Tomaten ziemlich fad.
Eine witzige Idee ist, dass jeder Gast zum Schluss einen Limoncello und/oder einen Grappa bekommt. Dafür wird einfach die ganze Flasche auf den Tisch gestellt - fertig. Gläser gibt es natürlich dazu.

We were a bit put off by some reviews here, BUT our experience was 5 star. Service, food, drinks, location all memorable. The fish 'soup' was particularly good. Recommended.
