Rifugio Chaligne In Gignod

The route is always on a rough road up to the refuge from the start to the finish. It's a place with a wonderful view, friendly people, good food, I recommend it.

Climbed by mountain bike.... from Aosta 15 km of asphalt up to the hamlet of Buthier (going up to the left shortly after passing Gignod) the road becomes a dirt road with excellent surface and asphalted sections and in about 5 km you reach the beautiful refuge just below 2000 meters above sea level... you can still continue for about 2.5 km up to the tza de Chaligne at just over 2200 meters..... in total about 23 km... with always constant and never exaggerated slopes.... perfect surface and great views make the climb by mountain bike really pleasant 👍🏻
