Ristorante "DA CARLO" In Senigallia

Great seafood place, right by the beach, with an authentic Italian Adria vibe

On the seafront we came across this delightful restaurant, with internal spaces and along the pedestrian street. Convivial environment, good quality of food, quick service. There were some details for which I didn't give the fifth star, unfortunately they need to improve the service, I noticed some inelegant gestures that could be improved. Maybe it was the rush... overall highly recommended. Reservation is recommended

Scrivo questa recensione relativa a un bel pranzo di famiglia in luglio. Si tratta di un ristorante famoso da 30 anni. Sebbene il vero Carlo l'abbia venduto 18 anni fa, la brigata di cucina è sempre la stessa! L'ubicazione è lato mare, non lontano dal centro di Senigallia; se si trova, si può parcheggiare a pagamento in Lungomare Alighieri. Locale curato esternamente e internamente. Ampio, 120 coperti, tonalità chiare, classico, elegante, tradizionale, organizzato, ordinato. Quadri alle pareti. Consiglio la veranda panoramica con vista diretta sulla spiaggia (stabilimento Giampiero) e sul mare in fondo, si sta dietro alla vetrata (tavolo 9), con aria condizionata. Avverto che c'è un gradino piuttosto alto per accedervi. Tovaglia e tovagliolo in vero tessuto (ormai una rarità!), salviettina puliscidita, piatti bianchi classici, bicchieri per acqua colorati, posate cambiate frequentemente, posate da pesce incluse. Il coperto non viene fatto pagare, quando invece meriterebbe! Camerieri esperti che ben reggono il grande affollamento estivo (affabile il cameriere Nico), nonostante qualche scorrettezza di galateo e un po' troppa velocità (antipasti serviti prima del vino!), ma bellissimo che ancora si mostrino i vassoi ai commensali prima di porzionare. Pane a fette grosse, croccante, buonissimo. Acqua naturale in vetro. Vino az. agricola Tenuta Musone ‘Musa’ brut rosé Marche IGT rosato, 12%, Cingoli (MC), spumante metodo classico, acciaio. Mi è stato fatto assaggiare e hanno messo il cestello con ghiaccio. Non sono più passati a riversarcelo e m'è stato venduto come Verdicchio, nonostante siano uve Montepulciano. Ad ogni modo, è un vino discreto, piacevole, colore rosa salmone, sapore fruttato, fresco, elegante; per aperitivi e antipasti di pesce, specie affumicato. Grosse porzioni, menù pantagruelico! (abbiamo scelto la degustazione di pesce "rock" a prezzo fisso) Antipasti freddi e caldi scelti da loro = insalata di mare, pesce molto fresco, pomodori, verdure / bocconcini di scorfano "rivestiti" / ottimo carpaccio di spada affumicato. Seppie con piselli molto buone, sebbene un po' sapide e con troppo brodo. Sauté cozze-vongole al naturale, poco gusto nei molluschi, ma sughetto fantastico. Bis di primi scelti da noi = tagliatelle fresche all’uovo con ricco ragù bianco di pesce, un po’ slegato ma buono / risotto rosso alla pescatora, perfetta cottura. Frittura mista asciutta, con verdurine un po’ senza sapore. Patatine a stick deludenti, decongelate. Grigliata con limone, spiedini misti, pesci, golose cozze ripiene. Caffè Saccaria, belle tazzine blu, offerti 4 pasticcini di pastasfoglia al cocco e liquore di liquirizia. Sorbetto al limone con alcol, in bicchiere, o al caffè. Max trasparenza nel conto: 4 menù degustazione + i 24 euro del vino. Tutto buono, bravi, una garanzia marchigiana!

I returned to this restaurant because I know it never disappoints my expectations...service, quality and courtesy and last but not least...the price...I recommend it to anyone who wants to leave the table happy

For me it is the obligatory stop every time I pass through Senigallia. Located on the seafront, the fish dishes are delicious, the first courses are super plentiful, the staff is efficient and friendly, the prices are not excessive. Absolutely worth trying. Book before you go in summer and on weekends because it is always full.

Ogni volta che vado a Senigallia non riesco a non andare da Carlo che, da tanti anni, e' una garanzia per mangiare il pesce. Ristorante sul mare, pesce freschissimo, cucina autentica, porzioni abbondanti e prezzo in linea. Punto forte e' la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale. Da Carlo e' come sentirsi a casa.

Always a guarantee!! It's been years now that I have had to stop here at least once. Attentive, courteous and friendly staff. I usually go without fail and order their delicious fish passatelli. Plus, this time, we tasted their 7-course cold mixed starter (Optimal !!!) The location is excellent, but if possible ask for a table near the windows overlooking the sea. the final cuddle for the customer (sweets served with the coffee but not requested) was much appreciated because as I usually say, speaking with the managers at the end of lunch/dinner, it's those small gestures that make the customer leave with a smile
