Ristorante Charleston In Milano

Located in the heart of Milan, this restaurant offers a wide selection of excellent quality dishes. A place I will definitely return to.

The pizzas were okay and reasonably priced for the location. However, the restrooms were very unhygienic, and the flush didn't work. For a €4.50 service charge, the restrooms should be cleaner.

I want to start my review by noting that we were probably not in the right place at the wrong time. It started to rain badly in Milano, so we went to the nearest restaurant for pizza, salads, and some Aperol drinks. We were welcomed to be seated and ordered our drinks immediately. Aperol came in glasses for water, and my partner asked if we could have a more traditional way of serving these drinks. Since we didn't know how to explain what we wanted to the waiter, he called a bartender. The bartender understood our request but said that traditionally, they don't serve Aperol in their expensive wine glasses because they are for wine, not for Aperol. Anyway, long story short, after that, everyone felt weird. We quietly had our pizza, and the waiter quietly served us. We paid a $12/per person coperto fee ( which is ridiculous, in my opinion). And that's it... Overall, it's a nice place. I just felt it was not for us. P.S. Pizza was fantastic! Taste of drinks - great as well.

Great experience in the center of Milan. First courses and pizzas highly recommended. The buffalo mozzarella with olive oil is also excellent. In short, an excellent pit stop in the heart of Milan

The pizza is delicious, the wine too

I’m very surprised by these reviews – for us, the service was excellent in English, and the food was super good. We had two pasta dishes. The only thing I would have improved: serving the bread with a plate and some olive oil. I’m sure we could have gotten it by asking, but if bread is offered at the beginning of the meal, this should be standard practice.

Dopo tanto tempo, sono tornato in questo ristorante e sono stato accolto molto bene dal personale. Ho ordinato alcuni piatti che solitamente preparano con cura, come il pesce. Peccato che il piatto scelto inizialmente non fosse disponibile perché avevano terminato il salmone, e ho dovuto ripiegare su un filetto di branzino. Il costo è piuttosto alto rispetto ad altri ristoranti della zona, ma nel complesso l’esperienza è stata discreta. Consigliato, ma senza particolari entusiasmi.

Sono tornato dopo parecchio tempo e devo dire che non ho trovato tutti i difetti raccontati nelle recensioni. Ottima lì salata di carciofi e le pappardelle con carciofi. Servizio perfetto …….. prezzo alto ma siamo in piazza liberty a Milano . In due 106,00 euro
