La Briciola In Milano

I visited Osteria Gourmet La Briciola this evening for a pleasant family dinner with friends (there were four of us adults), and the experience was truly excellent in every way. Convenient and easily accessible parking is a must-see. The restaurant entrance is spacious and well-organized, immediately conveying a sense of order and care. The welcome was warm and professional. We were attentively and kindly escorted to our reserved table. The large, wooden table was very comfortable. The atmosphere is refined but never overbearing. Great taste is evident in the choice of paintings, furnishings, lamps, and lighting. The lighting, designed with varying intensities, creates a soft and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the evening. The cuisine is simply top-notch. We chose the five-course seafood tasting menu, with the option of customizing an appetizer. Every dish was extraordinary! Delicate and balanced flavors, the expression of excellent raw materials and a refined and thoughtful cuisine. Special mention for the warm bread, truly 10/10, and for the sublime pastry. The complimentary fifth dessert was also very welcome (a gesture we greatly appreciated). The wine and spirits list is extensive and well-constructed, suitable for all tastes and price ranges. The recommendation for a second bottle was excellent. Impeccable service. The bathroom was spotless and equipped with every comfort (from classic accessories to more rare and useful details). A fairytale place..... everything delicious and beautiful 😍❤️

We were here with the family one evening in April 2026 and had several dishes. The decoration of the place is, well, particular, almost "too much". Food was good but often overpriced (even for an expensive city like Milano) and they charge a whopping 5 EUR for the coperto, plus an incredible 15% of "service charge", which is absolutely not normal in Italy (this may be the reason why this is written in bold red ink on the menu ;-). I had a good steak but the flavour of the accompanying Barolo sauce was way too strong and covered the flavour of the meat. All desserts have the same price of 15 EUR, but the Panna Cotta is the same that you get elsewhere for 5 EUR. Overall: reasonable quality of the food but surreal pricing. Sorry but we will not come back.
