La Briciola In Milano

Very nice and elegant atmosphere. Good food and large menu with high prices. The Chef's tartare was very good but the rest didn't surprise me. Unfriendly service and staff with smiles only reserved for known customers or famous people. Little tolerance for children, even the very good ones. It is worth removing that they welcome families from the listing on Google. I'm sorry but I wouldn't go back and I don't recommend it.

An old and charming Milanese haunt favoured by Italy’s A-list, including one Paolo Maldini. Started with the prawns and avocado followed by the steak tartare, with cured meat on the side. The waiter, a veteran of La Briciola, expertly paired the meal with a bottle of red. The setting is stunning, the service is sensational but the food — of the highest of quality — could do with a tinsy winsy dash of seasoning. Do book ahead, this place is popular — and not just with Instagramers.

Lunch with friends in one of the trendiest areas of Milan... a warm, welcoming environment ideal for Instagram... regarding the somewhat cold/snobbish service... smiles are only reserved for regular customers... good food even if the taste of the Milanese cutlet and the potatoes can be improved.

Mediocre restaurant, nice location, poor service with, at least at our table, a waiter who forgets what we ordered. We asked several times that a lady was missing the Gino she had ordered, what a figure.... It's probably well-reviewed due to the "famous" people who frequent this place, but I guarantee there are much lesser-known restaurants where the food is MUCH better! Spaghetti with clams? What a disappointment.

Warm setting, tasteful decoration, efficient and friendly service, quality traditional cuisine. On the other hand, hefty bill including cover 5€/pers + excessive 15% service which contrasts with the prices on the menu. Funny way to avoid clearly displaying expensive prices. For this price, no appetizer or sweets but a small bag of Haribo sweets :) offered at the end of the meal. La Briciola, run by the couple Gianni and Stefania, is riding on its reputation of people who have been there.

Super nice atmosphere! And was recommended Italian beef, which was very good, but very much beef, and almost no potatoes on the side. So it was very boring, should have had something else next to this dish 🥩 Or be informed that it's almost just steak without anything👍🏼 Then it became very expensive and we felt way too full of steak

I went there because a co-worker recommended it. There are many photos of celebrities at the entrance and a warm atmosphere inside. I arrived a little after 1 o'clock, but the kitchen closed at 2 o'clock and I was unable to have a leisurely meal due to the break time starting at 2:30. Take note of the time when you go. The reviews are so mixed that it seems like menu choice is important. The dish I ordered was Sicilian aubergine caponata - tomato-based eggplant dish, Hot puff pastry with buffalo stracciatella - It looks like pizza and has a simple taste, but I keep eating it. Spaghettoni with durum wheat, cheese and Roman pepper - cheese and pepper base pasta, Red prawn tartare with artichoke heart-The artichoke was delicious, but the shrimp were a bit salty. I got a glass of wine recommended and had Chardonnay and it was delicious! 123 euros for two... ^^

Dopo averne sentito parlare da molti e per diverso tempo ho provato a cenare in questo ristorante. ben frequentato sicuramente ma forse la frequentazione di personaggi conosciuti lo rendono attraente più del dovuto. Può anche essere che io avessi aspettative troppo alte in qualunque caso in termini di rapporto qualità prezzo preferisco altro.

Begrüßung eher verhalten, bei noch leerem Restaurant wurden wir trotz Reservierung nicht einmal gefragt ob uns der Innen oder Außenbereich lieber ist. Stimmung dadurch kurz eingeschränkt…. Im weiteren Abend war der Service dann freundlich und gut. Die Speisen waren schmackhaft und nett angerichtet. Das Ambiente einwenig überladen aber gemütlich. Preis/Leistung für die Lage ist akzeptabel. ABER: 1. unzureichende Sanitäranlagen für die Größe des Restaurants, wir haben nur eine Unisextoilette gesehen? Gibt es noch eine zweite? Das sind so Dinge, die nicht mehr zeitgemäß sind und durchaus mal eine Investition wert wären. 2. wird zusätzlich zu den Gedeckkosten ( Coperta ) eine 15% ige Serviceabgabe berechnet, also ein sehr gutes Zwangstrinkgeld. Wir kommen gut herum und haben so etwas noch nie erlebt. Auch nirgendwo sonst in Italien. ;-), wir kennen allerdings aber nicht alle 6000 Restaurants in Mailand…Wir finden diese Geschichte so ausgesprochen unsympathisch, deshalb gibt es keine Empfehlung von uns.
