We stopped for a quick lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. We didn't find the usual sandwiches, but rather thoughtful dishes like legumes, parmigiana, arancini, and rice salad. Lots of vegetarian options! The staff were extremely friendly and the price was more than fair. Highly recommended.

So you definitely eat well. You spend a little too much for what you eat. But we're in 2026. Either you eat out and spend that much, or you do the shopping and eat at home. Compliments on the desserts, the brothers know how to do it. See you soon, boy.

We had an aperitivo, which we thought would be quick, but the quality of the service and food made us stay longer—with great pleasure, I might add! This will be our go-to place in Ventotene…well done!!! Special mention for the meatballs 🧡

I stopped in almost by chance for an aperitivo and was pleasantly surprised. The aperitivo was excellent and not at all predictable, with many excellent tastings. The owners were very kind, highly recommended.

Thanks to Daniele, my partner, my brother, and I were able to try Zi Amalia's specialties this week. Delicious montanare, just like the ones my mom used to make, and special spritzes with new and untried flavors.

Weekend with friends 15 - 17 May 2026.. we were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice place, kind and helpful owner and employees.. excellent food and excellent value for money.. we felt like family.

21/07/2026: The food was quite good, the prices slightly lower than those in restaurants, but given the small portions and the lack of table service, it's understandable.
09/07/2026: It's the kind of restaurant that should be in every city, canteen-style service with a tray, you choose what you want from appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, and a choice of selected aged meats, fresh fish. I ate very well and I would go there every day also for the speed of the service. Compliments to Uncle Emilio

27/10/2025: Gretel is a local pride. The ice cream is excellent, but the other products are also worth trying. I recommend the Ischian croissant, which we tried at the Itaca location. Thanks also to the ice cream maker, Valeria, who was able to advise us. 6 stars!
