Nice location, the first room is better than the following ones which are narrower. Interesting menu, good starter with the trio of cod, the first courses also apart from the risotto with crunchy cotechino: served in a square, bottomless dish, half a centimeter thick with rice, inevitably cold, but above all limited in quantity and without taste. Excellent pan-fried hare. The desserts were offered with little imagination, in fact we didn't take them. I don't give an extra star because of the risotto and above all the noise at the end of the service in rearranging chairs and tables which were dragged heavily on the floor with an embarrassing noise... In the series, it's time for you to go home, perhaps a kind suggestion would have been more welcome . I don't think I will return.

The best choice year after year; made up of zero km food combined in a precise and meticulous manner with the most appropriate wines. Kindness, light-heartedness, very young waiters who put a lot of love into what they do, just like the owner! Thank you Abbess, you always remain one of my favorite choices!! ❤️‍🔥

Truly delicate and very good food, compliments to the chef! Kindness and friendliness, a beautiful environment especially for a romantic dinner!! Well done to all the staff! I recommend it and above all it is not as expensive as it should be!

Restaurant set in a beautiful setting. Delicious, unique and 0 km food, served and laid out with care and detail. Excellent cellar. Everything exceptional. High quality for a price that obviously reflects it. Taste the 'Abbess candies'!!!

Locale immerso nel "nulla" delle campagne in un ex caseificio..ambiente bellissimo in cui si respira un'atmosfera magica. Il personale cortese e alla mano, senza essere mai invadente per tutta la durata del servizio. Quest'ultimo è stato preciso e curato. Menù in cui si percepisce con chiarezza la volontà di portare avanti la tradizione culinaria locale, pur cercando di rinnovare (nel gusto e nell'impiattamento). Abbiamo mangiato: tris di baccalà, cappelletti riserva in brodo, passatelli "in secca" con ragù di Barzigola, lepre cacciata con polpettina fritta di quinto quarto e patate arrosto, sorbetto al naturale di mela senvito con meringhe, gelato con caramello salato e aceto balsamico (39 mesi!). Non è scontato concludere il pasto con dei dolci così buoni e accurati (nel gusto e nella presentazione). Abbiamo assaggiato anche un calice del vino prodotto dal proprietario Roberto..un orange squisito e il nocino, tipico di queste zone. Ho apprezzato molto anche la descrizione che viene fatta, all'interno del menù, riguardo alla storicità del locale e alle materie prime utilizzate (cercando materie prime genuine a km0 che vengono utilizzate nella loro totalità riducendo sprechi e descrivendo le varie erbe coltivate nell'orto). Il conto in linea con la tipologia di cucina offerta e del servizio: €120. È stato piacevole poter chiacchierare anche con il proprietario in merito all'idea di cucina che c'è dietro al locale..abbiamo percepito la grande passione con cui viene gestito il ristorante! Esperienza fantastica!

A place where you have to eat at least once in your life. Traditional dishes expertly modernised, impeccable service starting from the owner who, based on what to do, also tells you anecdotes about the dishes. An excellent wine list, especially based on natural wines. Prices are adequate for the quality and service offered. Once you sit down and eat, you can't help but come back. Well done

I went to eat on Christmas Day, a very refined fixed menu with well-balanced flavors and adequate portions and number of courses. Super welcoming staff and location always at the top. Absolutely worth repeating

11/02/2025: It didn't excite me. I chose the seafood menu. All the dishes were good, well made, with a nice plating but not really memorable. So-so service for a starred hotel: the wine service was not accurate (too much wine was poured by the waiter and more than once I had to do it myself). In the end good, but not great. Between limitations in choice (tasting only and chosen the day before), not excellent service, dishes of medium interest, you leave with the impression of something missing

02/02/2025: Notari bar restaurant, historic restaurant located just before Trinità, typical traditional Reggio Emilia cuisine, well executed. good tortelli, green, with hazelnuts, pinched with mushrooms, also the rabbit. The guinea fowl is excellent. The trifle not to be missed! Friendly staff, kind, good Francesca. Correct prices Summer outdoor space. Adjacent parking.
