La Badessa is a breathtaking experience: quality ingredients, you have to try the paccheri with out-of-this-world rabbit ragù, the excellent tartare, the Badessa ice cream with crushed vanilla beans and a drop of their own balsamic vinegar, truly divine!! Last but not least, the fantastic service, the super Alberto, an excellent Maître d' who will expertly guide you through the best food and wine pairings, and the young Paolo, so kind and truly talented, in pampering us and making us feel at home, truly the best!! Guys, never change!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

We were in the area and looking for a place to enjoy typical local products, perhaps with interesting reinterpretations of the specialties found in the Reggio Emilia area, and we found ourselves at this delightful and refined restaurant. Browsing the menu, the deconstructed erbazzone caught our eye—try it, it's special!!!
The selection of first courses is also interesting, as are the mouthwatering house appetizers. They offer a wide and refined selection of local wines, served by the attentive and knowledgeable sommelier, who guided us on an informative journey through a wine tasting made with rare local grapes. Finally, the desserts are spectacular, a must-try, needless to say.

The structure, as charming as it is challenging, is further burdened by dim lighting and colors that significantly darken the atmosphere. I don't like it.
The food options are pleasant, but I didn't eat for the price I paid.
In fact, we have a problem if the Parmesan fondue that seasoned the tagliolini overpowers, in flavor and saltiness, the grated truffle on top.
And we have two problems—problems, I mean—if this dish blows your final bill at (almost) €30.
The rest of the dishes served were decent, but nothing that made this visit unforgettable.
The wine cellar, on the other hand, is truly remarkable; Mr. Alberto is a top-notch professional.
I won't be returning.

A very unique and refined location, with excellent service and quality ingredients. The quality/price/quantity ratio wasn't balanced for me, especially for some dishes like the mixed cheese appetizer.

Una bella esperienza. Situato in un ex caseificio, conserva il fascino della tradizione emiliana con un tocco moderno. C'è molta attenzione ai prodotti locali e alle ricette antiche reinterpretate con maestria. Ho provato la loro tartare e la spada di daino, come dessert una panna cotta notevole. Carta dei vini notevole. Servizio cordiale e preparato. Dovevamo cenare all'esterno ma purtroppo con la tempesta non è stato possibile. Certo che anche la sala interna è davvero di impatto. Prezzi allineati alla location e al livello del cibo, tutto assolutamente equilibrato senza esagerazioni. Posso solo consigliarlo.

Cena di coppia grazie ad un regalo: Vaucher “Tradizione Giocata” che prevedeva percorso prestabilito con piatti tipici emiliani rivisitati: entrée, due antipasti, due primi, due secondi , due contorni, due dolci, caffè, nocino, acqua e tre calici di vino cad. abbinati alle pietanze. Noi soddisfattissimi. Il personale garbatissimo e preparato. Spettacolare anche il locale. Consigliatissimo.
