We were fortunate enough to choose Marco and the entire Al Vedel team as our caterer for our wedding at the end of August, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. Everything was simply perfect: from the excellent food, which won over all our guests, to the impeccable organization that allowed us to experience the preparations with complete peace of mind. What a great find!!! I was in the Colorno area and made a reservation at this restaurant for lunch. Excellent food, impeccable service, and a refined atmosphere. What can I say? I'll be back!

We found the place closed for holidays even though it was listed as open on the web... we had exited the highway specifically for this, an unpleasant surprise.

Everything was excellent, from the service to the food to the location. Ask to tour the cellar, both for wines and cured meats. A sight to behold! 💖 Congratulations!

Locale elegante e curato nei dettagli ma con un piacevole tocco informale nell'accoglienza. Il personale, cordiale e competente, espone con cura il menù. Piatti della tradizione, rivisitati in chiave moderna, con grande attenzione agli abbinamenti di sapori e alla presentazione estetica. Ottima scelta nella carta dei vini e interessanti proposte prelibate per chi ama salumi ed insaccati. Esperienza da ripetere.

Non ho dato 5 stelle semplicemente perchè vi è stata un'unica nota stonata in tutto il pranzo: il vino. Sono incinta e non ho potuto bere, ma la mia amica ha chiesto un calice di vino bianco fermo e le ho suggerito, essendo sommelier, Giovin Re di Michele Satta (100% Viognier in purezza, un vino che conosco bene perchè sono anche andata in cantina a degustarlo). Il sommelier ci ha informato essere un vino complesso ed evoluto con forti noti di barrique (??? ero un po' stranita: non è il vino che ricordo). Arriva un vino profondamente diverso, marsalato e con evidente difetto di tappo al naso, probabilmente non conservato correttamente (è un vino che può invecchiare anche 10-15 anni se conservato bene, ma non è questo il caso). Chiediamo di sostituirlo e il sommelier neanche si accerta del perchè, non chiede, non annusa, niente. Ci tratta come due rompiballe e ci fornisce 3 altre opzioni, fine. L'ho trovato poco professionale. Sul cibo nulla da dire. Spaziale!
