We went to Al Vedel one evening in July, I opted for a seasoned tasting menu, while my partner chose some à la carte dishes.
All very good and cooked perfectly.
The "Seasonal" tasting menu, with tartare - risotto - fillet - pre-dessert was a little challenging to finish, but absolutely recommended.
The only small points I can make are that there is no recommended wine pairing for the tasting menu and when we asked to eat in the internal room we were offered a table on the veranda, in July 50m from Parma with relative humidity and possible insects. we would have preferred to stay inside.
Given the high quality of all the dishes offered and the bill in line with what was offered, we can only recommend this restaurant.

I've only been once, for a business lunch. I tasted a selection of cured meats accompanied by a Bolgheri red wine. I also tasted a dish with venison. I was expecting something sensational given the important reputation it has, but I didn't find anything exceptional.

Lovely place with good ambiance and vibe. We arrived at nine when it was still rather empty but within half an hour it was busy with mostly Italian people. The staff is very professional, speak good English and tell you all about the menu and the wines. Plates are beautiful and taste is very good.
They have vegetarian options/menu, which is still rare in the countryside of Italy. The peasoup I had was delicious. The only thing I have to say, all veg. dishes come with cheese. Would love to have some real vegan options as well.

A plate of Terre di Nebbia culatello (Slow Food presidium aged for 26 months), creamed robiola risotto, with black pig throat and Veronese radicchio and potato tortelli seasoned with Parmigiano Reggiano and Porcini mushroom sauce. All served by extremely welcoming staff with a smile on their faces. It's worth the price you pay!

Fantastic restaurant. Starter of Parma ham with different seasonings and first course with Parmigiano Reggiano. Excellent wine list. Welcoming and kind staff. If you are in the area, a stop is a must.

Mi sono recata qualche settimana fa per pranzo e devo dire che sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa. Il ristorante si trova a 4 minuti in macchina dalla Reggia di Colorno e all' interno si presenta come un ristorante elegante e ben curato. Il menù è vario con piatti della tradizione parmense ma anche con piatti innovativi. Io ho assaggiato due antipasti: LA SPECIALE SELEZIONE DI TRE STAGIONATURE DEL CULATELLO TERRE DI NEBBIA PODERE CADASSA (PRESIDIO SLOW FOOD) e IL SALAME STROLGHINO NATURALE servito con pane soffice al burro e maionese alla gremoulade. Gli antipasti erano veramente eccezionali.
Come primo ho assaggiato LO SCRIGNO DI PARMA ripieno con ravioli al pomodoro candito e crema di Parmigiano Reggiano. Era veramente delizioso e ben presentato.
Infine, per concludere in bellezza, ho ordinato il dolce ed in particolare CUORE FONDENTE con mousse al cioccolato bianco e vaniglia del Madagascar, cremoso al caramello, servito con gelato al caffè.
Il personale è estremamente gentile e cortese, servizio veloce. I prezzi sono proporzionati alla qualità dei piatti offerti e delle materie prime proposte.
Il locale dispone di ampio parcheggio. È consigliata la prenotazione

Venire qui e non assaggiare i culatelli, i prosciutti ed il nero è un reato. Parmigiano al top. Ma queste delizie sono circondate da una cucina top e da una selezione di formaggi spettacolare. Vale sempre la pena tornare.
