I expected more given the reviews.
Truffle garganelli (lots of truffle but no flavor).
Catalan-style lobster (pre-cleaned in the soup tureen with seasoned raw broth vegetables) I think they had some fabulous capers in there! The spider crab served on the plate (I usually like to see it in its shell) was good. Scallops on a cream of peas and burrata cheese, served well, and I have to say it was my favorite dish. I saw the raw fish being the most popular, so maybe I should have gotten that. I didn't like the plating; they also put fried food in the soup tureen. Very friendly staff, the setting (the garden) was soft and elegant. Excellent wine selection, a pleasant entree.

The restaurant is on the roadside, so it's easy to hear cars passing by, especially early in the evening (much less so after 8:30 PM). I ate outside. The atmosphere is very refined, with spacious, well-spaced tables and meticulously set tables. I only visited the interior for the service, but it seemed dated. The glasses and silverware were very nice. The service was courteous (not perfect, but courteous). The raw fish was spectacular, the appetizers we tried were very good, and the risotto was good. I was very disappointed with the dessert (in fact, I told the kind waitress I wasn't thrilled). I had the cheesecake, and it wasn't even cheesecake to me. Soft on the bottom and flavorless on top. I would have expected much better given the price of the desserts and the quality of the rest of the dinner. My companion had the crème brûlée, which he enjoyed. Overall, a good experience, but the cheesecake was a complete failure in style for dessert. I see it's not listed on the online menu, and perhaps that's for the best 😄
We didn't receive any specific wine pairing recommendations, just a list of wines by the glass to choose from. Overall, I got the impression that this is a place that's working well and is well-established, so it doesn't need much special effects to impress new customers.

Absolutely! We had lunch outside under the pergola, and it was great. The dishes were interesting, but a bit old-fashioned (which isn't necessarily a bad thing, sometimes).

Coworkers suggested this place for a business dinner, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The raw fish was excellent, and the main course was good. The chef is a true food enthusiast. I'll be back.
