Restaurant Terrazza Danieli In Venezia

I came here with high expectations, made a reservation in advance, and specifically chose Christmas Eve dinner, the earliest being 7 PM. Unfortunately, it was windy and rainy that day 😂 (or perhaps the terrace was closed), so I couldn't visit or dine there. The atmosphere was steeped in history: the restaurant's interior retained a lot of Venetian-style decor, with mahogany furniture, exquisite tapestries, and sparkling crystal chandeliers, as if the air was filled with the lingering charm of 19th-century aristocratic social life. It had a strong retro feel reminiscent of Venice's Golden Age. The service was professional and top-notch, with a touch of Italian theatricality, which was quite distinctive. As for the food, it was a standard Michelin-starred meal. The most outstanding dish was the fish in the main course, which truly showcased their skill in handling fresh seafood. The truffle risotto, while generously filled with truffles, lacked the unique flavor of truffles. However, the final panettone was rather ordinary; this finishing touch to the festive atmosphere was underwhelming, probably a mass-produced version from a large company. Top-notch atmosphere and service! Of course, the bill was also top-notch 😂 It's a matter of opinion. The food was a bit formulaic and lacked something, making it less cost-effective. (Personally, I value the core functionality of a restaurant more.) But if you're going for the historical background and scenery, it's worth it.

Christmas Eve just for a cocktail

A magnificent place, a warm atmosphere! I booked this restaurant for my marriage proposal. The team was incredibly attentive, and the surprise for my future husband was a complete success. I recommend it 200%! 🥰

very good and testy food and view to venice. high prices but! you get high qualuty of food. only thing i didnt like is that the table was alot of scrumble from the bread and outher things and thay didnt clean it at all... only in the end of our meal they do it... deffnitly recommand on this rasturant

The food was very good. The service was too fast.

We tried the tasting menu. Everything was truly exceptional, and each dish was paired with a different, top-notch wine. The cod and fish ravioli were excellent. To finish, a tiramisu that would bring the dead back to life... The staff were attentive and professional. The view of Venice at night was superb!

We went just for drinks here but the place is very classy, the view incredible and the drinks pricey but very good.
