It was the first time I'd climbed those stairs... then that terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. I must say it was a unique experience, a charm I find hard to describe. I thank the staff who took care of my puppy and prepared his requested food. The service and food were impeccable. I'll be back soon because beautiful things are unforgettable. Thanks again, and see you soon.

our favorite restaurant in italy! so glad i we celebrated our anniversary dinner here - everything was perfect! the views were jawdropping, service was incredible - seriously they were so kind and attentive. they offered to take pictures of us, came to chase after me when i accidentally left my portable charger!! food was great too - we ordered their steak for 2 that came with veggies and potatoes! we ordered dessert after, a chocolate cake and something else - i forgot what my boyfriend ordered haha, but they were delish! and even gave us a lil candle moment for our anniversary 🥹. definitely recommend this spot for gorgeous golden hour + sunset views!

I almost did not go to this restaurant after reading few bad reviews. I am so glad ended up visiting. Yes, one might say food is not at the 3 star michellin level and of course it is very expensive, BUT... views are absolutely unbeatable. You can only get this view from Bell tower, but you would not be sitting and enjoying as much. I would definitely go back again. Try to get an early reservation, moment they open, to get a good table.

What an absolutely incredible experience. This sun-soaked terrace is a Venice must do! The views are magnificent, the food delicious, and the service flawless. I must single out our amazing waiter with the impressive moustache and personality which made the lunch even more enjoyable and fun. The agnolotti stuffed with osso buco in parmesan fondue was absolutely exceptional, and the veal fillet Rossini magnificent. And we really appreciated being protected from the seagulls by a beautiful bird of prey … simply amazing!

What a great experience! Classic 5Star Hotel with highest level of service on this beautiful terrace! Excellent food . Nice to see that Danieli is still among the finest venues in Venice . We will come back .

A long time ago, the management changed and the food declined, which was disappointing, but it has now recovered and is better. The service is with a perfect smile, and the menu items are not mediocre, which is appropriate for this special location. This is probably the best view in Venice, and a restaurant where you can enjoy the view to the fullest, so that alone is wonderful. To be honest, most restaurants with good views tend to have mediocre food and service, but this one exceeded expectations in a good way. The view changes depending on the time of day, so lunch is good, but sunset is especially recommended. However, reservations are booked up far into the future, so you'll need to make an early reservation.

Sabíamos que este sería un almuerzo caro, y lo fue. Gastamos 168 euros para nuestra familia, pero Terrazza Danieli cumplió en todos los niveles. Solo la vista merece la pena visitar, con una terraza tranquila con vistas al agua y un ambiente relajante y elegante. Pedimos dos Tonnarelli Cacio e Pepe con frijoles y trufa negra afeitada, y fueron absolutamente excepcionales. La pasta estaba perfectamente cocida, la salsa era cremosa y sabrosa, y la generosa porción de trufa negra le daba un toque lujoso. Uno de los platos de pasta más memorables que hemos probado. Nuestros hijos tenían la lasaña, que les encantaba. Era rico, cursi y lleno de sabor. Una porción perfecta y claramente hecha con cuidado. También compartimos una pizza Margherita, que tenía una gran corteza y sabor a tomate fresco. Para las bebidas, pedimos dos botellas grandes de agua tranquila Panna y una Coca - Cola Zero. Todo fue servido con profesionalidad. El cargo de cobertura era de 12 euros por persona, que se sumaban al total, pero la experiencia general lo hacía sentir justificado. El personal era pulido, amable y genial con nuestros hijos. El entorno, la vista y la comida se unieron para crear una comida inolvidable. Si usted está de visita en Venecia y desea disfrutar de un almuerzo de alta gama con increíbles vistas y refinados platos italianos, Terrazza Danieli bien vale la pena el derroche. Op een stralende dag hier samen lunchen is natuurlijk een feestje. Beeldschoon dakterras op toplocatie met schitterend uitzicht over de lagune. Goed eten kun je op meer plekken, hier kom je voor de unieke plek en de uitstekende service. Danieli is een van de oudste en meest gerenommeerde hotels van Venetië. Op dit dakterras wordt chique geluncht (hoewel niet alle gasten dat begrijpen. Alleen een kop koffie kan niet en dat wordt middels de forse coperta vriendelijk uitgelegd). Ons menu was goed, maar niet heel uitzonderlijk. De vrouwelijke sommelier liet steken vallen: twee van de vier wijnen werden pas ingeschonken toen het gerecht al op tafel stond. En bij de uitleg keek zij alleen mij aan en niet de gastheer: heel ongemakkelijk. De toiletten zijn voorzien van Acqua di Parma ammenities. Let ook op de schitterende glas in lood ramen uit Murano met Venetiaanse voorstellingen, op weg naar het dakterras. Natuurlijk zijn de prijzen hier enorm. Wij hadden een fantastische middag.
