We went there for the first time for a fantastic exhibition at the castle.
Excellent experience, warm welcome, attentive and friendly service, especially from the young man. The dishes were quality. We ordered mushroom risotto, pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola, etc. Everything was very good. I confess I would have liked to try the pizzas too.

We stopped to eat at the osteria with my husband and children... a wonderful welcome and excellent food... characteristic dishes... the service young but very friendly and the hostess pleasant and kind.

Conveniently located opposite Pavia Cathedral, this restaurant is worth a stop to sample some of the freshly prepared dishes, including various excellent risottos. The wine list is excellent. The prices are surprisingly low, certainly below average, especially considering the quality of the dishes.

The food is excellent, portions are a bit small, but that depends on the person. The prices are perhaps a bit high. I understand the fact that it's in the main square in front of the cathedral, but this is Pavia, not Venice.

I dined at this osteria-pizzeria a few evenings in July. The food was well-prepared and of high quality. The selection isn't extensive, which I think shows the care and attention given to the preparation of the dishes. Outdoor tables facing the cathedral offer spectacular views of Pavia Cathedral and the square. The staff was friendly, but sometimes a little distracted.
The pizzas were also good. HIGHLY recommended.
Unfortunately, even though it's located in a pedestrian area, there are some uncivilized people who drive by and park just a few meters from the tables.

Pasamos por este lugar un par de veces, con la teoría de que algo que decía "pizzería" justo en la plaza del Duomo podría no ser genial - y estábamos tan equivocados. Este lugar era fantástico, con una vista de la catedral y la plaza y buena comida. Mi esposa tenía una gran pizza y fui en la otra dirección - atún rojo en rodajas en una corteza de sésamo. Fue fantástico. Esta fue una gran cena y volvería aquí primero cuando regresemos a Pavía.

In occasione della laurea di nostra figlia siamo andati a Pavia e dopo la discussione siamo andati a pranzo in questo ristorante avendo solo fermato i tavoli ma con menù alla carta. Il locale si trova in pieno centro proprio difronte al duomo. Eravamo in nove, abbiamo preso piatti di carne e di pesce (spaghetti alle vongole , risotto con ossobuco , risotto ai funghi porcini ecc.), dolci fatti da loro tra cui uno particolare di mele accompagnato con gelato al caramello salato e accompagnando il pranzo da buoni vini. Tutti abbiamo apprezzato molto la cucina e direi buon rapporto qualità prezzo
