Surprised at some of the lower reviews. Great, friendly service & of course views. The gnocchi was good but the grilled octopus was our favorite. Perfectly cooked & seasoned. Some of the best we’ve had anywhere. They were served on mashed potatoes that were creamy & simple but so good & the roasted tomatoes added a bright note

The table by the sea, among aromas and delights – Without knowing it at all, I had aimed for this restaurant already when I got off the ferry. I saw the corner that closes the bay as a refuge that escapes the crowds of tourists. Once I arrive, I discover that there really is a restaurant. The name already sums up the choice of style: Rada, to amplify the setting of sea, sand and rocks that set it. Magnificent location. You can eat spoiled by the scent of the sea, the lapping of the waves, the blue that unites the sky and the rippling waters. The furnishings recall the environment. The service is attentive, present, without too much insistence. Food isn't everything, as the place is very evocative. But, in a restaurant, it is certainly the fulcrum of quality. Which really isn't missing here. Meanwhile: we drank the best Fiano di Avellino that you remember. Scialatielli, cod and sea bass fillet highlight the professionalism of the kitchen. The dessert, caprese and lemon with ice cream, is very classy. The liqueurs (offered) are a good complement and the coffee lives up to the culture of Campania for the drink that finds excellence in the region. Positano is a small paradise and Rada represents it well.

The view is the unmatched but the food was extremely salty and far from the best seafood we’ve ever had. Grab an appie and go elsewhere for your entree.

After reading the reviews online, I was slightly concerned about showing up to our dinner reservation at Rada rooftop, but I am so glad we went! We had a table with a beautiful view of the cliffs and all of the food and drinks we tried were delicious. The staff was also incredibly polite and attentive, clearing our plates quickly, refilling our water, and replacing our cocktails. While I can see where some may say the prices are high, I felt they were reasonable given that we were in Positano and at an upscale restaurant. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Positano.

Vimos al fondo , pegado a la playa este lugar. Fue el más cercano al mar , nos gusto la idea de comer junto a la playa. Risotto y champiñones , pasta al limón ( creo algo obligado por la zona) Ambos platillos sabrosos. Buen café para rematar

La posición del restaurante y la vista son excepcionales. El personal era atento. La comida no estuvo a la altura de lo esperado, pasta lingüina poco cocinada, el plato de carne de res de Wife era masticable, pero mis platos de pescado eran buenos. No justificamos la inclusión de una guía Michelin en nuestra opinión. Fuimos por la noche y vale la pena ir por la vista solo cuando llegó el anochecer.
