The best crepes in Maremma, hands down. The ice cream really tastes amazing! The cappuccino is top-notch. Francesco is talented and friendly. 🍀

I had to stop by for the second night in a row to enjoy one of their crepes. What I like (personal preference) is that the dough isn't overcooked, so it stays soft and doesn't become like a piadina. The gelato is "hidden" in containers with lids, as they used to be...a feature not often found in ice cream shops. On my next trip to Follonica, I'll try this one too. You can also use the bar counter for coffee, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful.

If you're looking for good ice cream made with natural ingredients, this is the place to go. The owners are very friendly. The negative reviews are from before the reopening.

03/06/2026: Great little place that does exactly what it says on the label. We wanted to try some local food, and we definitely did! We walked in literally 5 minutes before closing and were still welcomed with a smile. For €20 we got a huge bag of delicious fried seafood, perfect for sharing. They also served cold wine for just €2.50 a cup. Now, I'm no wine connoisseur 😜, but it was cold, refreshing, and went perfectly with the food. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.
26/05/2026: The free-range animal fat (at least the one for the calamari) was apparently old and had major "problems" overnight.

02/02/2026: Truly an excellent experience! Super fresh fish and dishes crafted with meticulous attention to detail, with authentic flavors that are evident from the first bite. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the portions are more than generous. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always available to recommend the best dishes of the day. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a quiet dinner or a special occasion. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!
27/01/2026: I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Macchinera restaurant last Sunday to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday, and it was a truly delightful experience. The restaurant, despite its simplicity, is very welcoming. The dishes are not only high-quality but also plentiful, and the first courses feature a truly rich seafood selection. The staff is also very friendly and always ready to accommodate guests' needs. I also really liked the table layout (there were just over 20 of us, and we were able to chat among ourselves; there were no other people in the dining room). Among the dishes, the prosciutto crudo as a first appetizer deserves a special mention, which I absolutely loved, even though I'm not a big fan of raw fish. Finally, I also found the price to be fair and appropriate for the amount consumed. We'll be back!
