We were there yesterday for Valentine's Day and we definitely want to go back.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Sanremo, with excellent service from the staff. Always on point and very friendly... one of the best crab paccheri I've ever had.

We had dinner on a rainy evening; the rain was pouring through the awning, and there was a draft, which wasn't particularly pleasant. Only the larger tables were inside, so we had to sit outside despite having a reservation. However, the food was still very good from the main course to dessert, and the staff were very friendly and attentive, even when it was busy. I ordered a shellfish platter, and it was very generous; I was surprised. I recommend it, but only with a reservation made well in advance.

We had a wonderful dinner at Quintessenza in San Remo, seated outside in their wind‑protected and heated area. The plastic enclosure kept us perfectly comfortable, and the table itself was excellent — cozy, calm, and ideal for enjoying the evening. We started with the paccheri al sugo di crostacei, a chef’s suggestion that turned out to be absolutely delicious, along with a beautifully prepared insalata di carciofi served raw and full of flavor. For the main courses, I chose the classic Orecchia d’Elefante and a rombo con carciofi al forno, both impeccably cooked and generously portioned. Dessert was equally impressive: a creamy cheesecake with caramello salato and a delightful meringata con marron glacé. Every dish was well prepared, balanced, and satisfying. The service added an extra touch of charm. Before the starters, the waiter brought us some bread and warm pizza slices, and we were offered a limoncello to finish the meal. The highlight, though, was the thoughtful gesture toward our dog Toffee, who received a few slices of ham as a treat — a small detail that made the experience feel truly personal. From start to finish, everything was smooth, attentive, and delicious. Quintessenza delivered a flawless experience that fully deserves 5 stars.

It's one of those restaurants where it's hard to choose what you liked best because everything is just right. And even though it's always crowded, you can still chat comfortably and enjoy the evening. The kindness of the staff is another strong point: welcoming, smiling, and present without being intrusive. They explain the dishes calmly and follow the pace of the dinner well. Overall, it's a restaurant worth a visit in Sanremo: excellent cuisine, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes the evening special.

We loved it! We stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance, and what a great find! The menu had some lovely options, the dishes were delicious, and the price was excellent. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area!
