good pizzeria not far from the Arena. We stopped by in the evening to have a snack because we rented an apartment very close. two good pizzas (fior di latte and pizza with prosciutto), a glass of Valpolicella and lager - for only 28 euros, including coperto. The place is full of people in the evenings.

VERY GOOD AND DIGESTIBLE PIZZA. VERY KIND AND HELPFUL STAFF. IF YOU EAT OUTDOORS YOU ARE SURROUNDED BY A VERY WELCOMING AND VERY WELL KEPT GARDEN. DOGS ACCEPTED. PRICES IN THE AVERAGE OF PIZZERIAS. WIDE SELECTION OF CRAFT BEERS IN BOTTLES, YOU CAN TASTE THE BEERS ON DRAW TO CHOOSE THE ONE YOU LIKE MOST. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED

We really enjoyed our lunch in this delightful restaurant. Set back from the road in some very pretty gardens, its quiet ambience was a lovely rest from the road. We have been hoping to find a good pizzeria in Verona and we’re not disappointed. They had a very good selection of different pizzas with some specialities. The pizza was very fresh and was delicious. Worth a visit in you are in this part of town. The staff were very friendly and spoke both Italian and English.

If you ever visit Verona, you must go to Leon D’Oro. This is where the locals go for Pizza, and there is a reason for it. Make it part of your trip, you will not be disappointed. The ambiance is great and the food is spectacular. Impecable service too. Enjoy!

Davvero una pizza eccellente! Tutti molto gentili e professionali. Impasto molto buono. Prodotti freschi e di qualità. Prezzi nella norma ma non esagerati. Meritato il premio 2024 di miglior pizzeria nel Veneto. Da tornare.

Locale in buona posizione, vicino al centro, protetto da un bel giardino che viene occupato con tavoli all' aperto. Ottime possibilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze. Menù vario per le pizze, un po' meno per il ristorante. Ampia scelta di birre in bottiglia. Pizza molto gustosa e ben cucinata, cornicione altro e fragrante.

27/08/2024: Basta scelta di birre e staff competente. Peccato per il caldo in cortile e le zanzare, ma ad agosto non si può certo chiedere diversamente. Buoni i panini e i fritti.
03/08/2024: Evening with friends, that is, the best kind of evening you can spend here at Piero's. Various appetizing appetizers and then nice big burgers, all washed down with an excellent beer (and there really is something for all tastes). The location is very beautiful, typical Irish pub atmosphere (for a moment I felt like I was back in Dublin). The place is much larger than it appears from the street, where it honestly disappears a bit between the petrol station next door and the other buildings (which is a shame). I want to go back.
