I revisited Pinocchio for the first time in years and am happy to report that it is still a great place for dinner.

Good food. Among the appetizers, I recommend the tartare, which is beautifully presented. The first courses were also good. We tried two desserts; the cheesecake wasn't as good as the other crème brûlée cake we tried, which was very unique and noteworthy. Proper service. Cute atmosphere; the tables in the alley are lovely for a dinner for two.

We initially found this from the alley and entered a cute small intimate space. We thought when we made the reservation that is where we would eat. But since it is the Summer they sat us outside on the corner. Very nice location in the middle of it all. Much larger than anticipated. The food was good, pretty plates and good flavors but nothing super special. I had the ravioli with burrata and zucchini while my husband had the curry couscous with seafood. The service was spectacular. Attentive and prompt without being pushy.

After years I returned to this place and the quality of the food is not bad but the service, well... very rushed and they don't even give you time to finish your plate that they come to take it away. The waiters stare at you and this is quite annoying. Portions are not very generous. The tuna tartare is very small and the second courses are no joke either. In short, I don't know if I'll return.

Eccezionale ristorante nel centro storico di Pietrasanta materie prime di alta qualità,consiglio come aperitivo le loro patatine fritte con una bollicina . Tutto il menù merita abbinata a lista assortita di vini.

08/09/2025: On our way back from a visit to the superb Verrucole Fortress (which I highly recommend), we stopped here for a bite to eat. The choice was between sandwiches and a platter, and we opted for the latter. The platter, for two, was generous with excellent cured meats—the lardo in particular was divine—and cheeses, accompanied by a small bowl of excellent local honey and sweet and sour pickled onions. A delicious homemade bread and focaccia completed this delicious meal overlooking Mount Pisanino.

20/08/2025: Disappointing. The reviews are excellent, but the gelato is just plain old gelato. Fast service, and you can sit outside.
