After years I returned to this place and the quality of the food is not bad but the service, well... very rushed and they don't even give you time to finish your plate that they come to take it away. The waiters stare at you and this is quite annoying. Portions are not very generous. The tuna tartare is very small and the second courses are no joke either. In short, I don't know if I'll return.

Nice atmosphere, very kind waiter and excellent food. I can't help but give 5 stars. Nice menu, I would have tried every starter if I could. The spaghetti alla viareggina is delicious.

At first glance the place seems small but there are several rooms with original furnishings. As a first course we had the paccheri with octopus ragù and the tortelli with meat ragù. The dishes are loaded with sauce and this was much appreciated. Really good. The only flaw was that the paccheri were a little too al dente and did not cook evenly. Instead, for the second course we chose the sliced tuna, presented together with a delicious potato flan, and the sliced beef with roast potatoes. As for the tuna, it was very light and did not have an intense seafood flavour, the external crust contrasted very well with the softness of the tuna. While for the meat we start from the quantity: the dish is in excellent condition with an excellent dose of meat already cut into slices that are neither too thin nor too large which allows you to eat each slice in one bite or by cutting it only in half, the meat It is cooked medium but slightly rare which allows you to taste all the flavors and not take too long to chew it, even the nervous part is soft and good plus the amount of salt is satisfactory
everything is accompanied by soft baked potatoes but with crunchy edges that allow you to enjoy the dish to the fullest.
I would like to give some advice regarding the service, it is more polite and pleasant to see the waiter who checks if there are dishes to take away as he passes rather than appearing often, it can be unpleasant to realize that you are being checked frequently and leads you to finish your meal as soon as possible scope.
